Epilogue

"Are we almost ready guys?" I asked LaF and Perry. They were decorating the house to surprise Angelica for her birthday. I could not believe that she is already five years old. I would be back from school soon but I told Carmilla to keep her busy for awhile before bringing her home. She's gonna be so happy, I thought. 

Perry and LaF had hanged balloons everywhere and big sign saying "Happy Fifth Birthday Creampuff!" I could not believe that Carm surnamed our daughter creampuff. She loved that girl too much. I smiled at that thought because our happiness was unreal. 

The ringtone of my phone pulled me out of my thought. I smiled when I saw Carm's face on the screen.

"Hey babe!"

"Hey," she answered. "We're heading home now, so you better be ready."

I looked around and said "We're ready."

"Alright, see you in a bit."

I hung up and told the others that Carm and Angelica were coming. We checked everything one last time to make sure we forgot nothing. After ten minutes, we heard a car pulling in front of the house. Everyone looked for somewhere to hide. 

"SURPRISE!!!" we said in unison when the front door opened. Then I saw Carm's face and our daughter's. I immediately went to them.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

They said nothing. Instead, I saw Carm making a sign to Angelica, who looked terrified. She then opened her mouth and that was when I saw them: two fangs. I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. How the hell did this happen?
