The wind was howling, and the snow was swirling relentlessly around my face. My face stung. My face burned. I was stunned with angst. Everything seemed so real now. This wasn't just another scene in a movie. I was cold. Not just being in the snow cold, I was viciously cold. A cabin or a car, would be my best bet. My thick jacket was not helping the freezing temperatures. The trees were taller than anyone could imagine. With each step, more snow flooded my boot. Soaking my feet. Almost numbing my feet. He was probably close. I needed to run. By now, I don't know what part, or if I'm even in Canada still.
He was going to take me again. The nameless man. I ran as fast as I could. He knew I was going South. He knew everything about me. The sun would soon go down. I would soon be dead without him. No. Being with him was worse than dying out here.
Crack. I stepped on something. Crack. My legs soon fell into something that immediately felt hot, then I realized it was from the freezing temperatures of the water. I was going to get hyponothermia. I had stepped on thin ice. The ice cut me, as I pulled my body out of the water. Once I was out of the water, I collapsed in the snow. Tired of running. Tired of hiding. The only thing that kept me running, was him. The agony of the thoughts of him, that were forced into my mind. I turned over, and looked into the cloudy sky, wishing I would die already.
Something dark, was coming from deep in the trees. I realized it was smoke. I finally had something that was lost long ago. Hope. I stood up to my feet. My legs were weak, and I stumbled with every step. Once I fell the final time, I stayed down, dragging myself through the snow. Nails ripped  from my fingers. A shirt scream escapes my mouth. Hald-frozen tears rolled down my face.
Finally at the house, I knocked on the door. An elder lady opened the door, not seeing me until she looked down.
"Please help me." I said.
The woman helped me up, and brought me into her cabin. The cabin was dimly lit inside. The wallpaper was floral print. The cabin was warm, and that's all I cared. We walked through a small kitchen, and into a living room.
"Hello darling" the nameless man said.
