"Stella! Stella where are you!?!?" I heard a voice yell, jostling me out of my dream.
"Stella! Please where are you!?!?" I heard another voice yell, Dean.
I sat up and wiped the sleep out of my eyes. Before I got the chance to yell back I heard footsteps close by and looked up to see Dean walking into the clearing. When he saw me relief crossed his face and then he looked next to me and his face hardened. I followed his eyes and saw Cas sitting next to me staring at Dean.
"Ah well I'm glad to see you're perfectly fine."He said in a cold voice and turned away.
I then realized what this probably looked like. "Oh crap. Dean!" I shouted and got up and ran after him.
"Glad to see you've moved on so quickly." Dean said turning to me once Cas was out of earshot.
"Thats not at all what happened! Please you have to believe me." I said desperately.
"Oh whatever, it's not like I care." He rolled his eyes and started to walk away.
Now I was just furious. "Yeah, I can see that. It became clear that you never really cared yesterday." I yelled back at him.
He stopped and turned to look at me. I could see in his eyes that he was furious. "That's what you really think? That I didn't care about you?" He said in a dangerously low voice.
"Oh am I wrong? You didn't really seem to show much other emotion except wanting me Dean."
"Then fine have it your way! I never cared! I don't care about you! I don't care what happens to you!" He yelled, his nostrils flared.
"Well then fine, I guess I will just leave then since I'm such a nuisance afterall!" I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. No, I can't cry right now. Not in front of him.
"Fine. LEAVE. Die for all I care!" He said and turned away leaving me in the forest alone.
My lip trembled as I tried to hold back my tears until he dissapeared across the ridge. When he was out of my sight I let tears spill down my cheeks and walked in the opposite direction.
"Stella wait!" I turned to see Cas. "Where are you going?"
"Castiel, thank you for being my friend. Really. I think you're the reason why I lasted here for so long. But I have to go, I'm really glad I met you Castiel. Please tell them all that I'm gone okay? And to not come after me. Including Crowley. He deserves more than he gets."
"No, Stella, you can't go out there alone with no protection." He protested.
"I have to Cas. I have to." I whispered.
"No, please don't leave. We need you, Stella." He begged, I could see tears form in his eyes.
"No, please don't cry Cas. It'll be okay! I promise." I walked over to him and hugged him. "I promise. This won't be the last time we see each other, I know it won't. Castiel, you helped me when no one else could and for that I'm beyond grateful. I need you to let me go though, one last thing for me okay?"
He nodded and let go. "Goodbye, Cas." I smiled. I brought his head down and kissed his forehead and hugged him one last time. "See you soon."
I then quickly left him and ran through the trees and didn't stop until I knew I was far away. After I finally felt like I was far enough away. I stopped and leaned against a tree to cry. "Goodbye." I whispered into the wind.
Castiel's P.O.V
I watched her run away until she dissapeared between the trees and sighed and walked back to the bunker. When I entered the bunker I looked down to see Dean and Sam bickering and Gabriel off in the corner watching with a blank look. Dean and Sam went silent when they saw me but no Stella. "She's gone."I said.
"What?" Sam said in shock, he sat down in the chair and put his head between his hands. "Now what are we going to do?" He cursed.
"Son of a bitch!" Dean yelled and punched the wall leaving a hole in it.
"Woah, easy there tiger." Gabriel said peering up at Dean. "We will find her."
"She doesn't want to be found." I added.
"What? You talked to her?" Sam said looking up at me and I nodded. "Why the hell didn't you stop her Cas!?!?" He yelled.
"I couldn't, she was too determined."
"Yeah, well thats her alright." Dean mumbled. He shook his head and exited the library into the hallway, shortly followed by his door slamming shut.
"She requested that I tell Crowley as well." I said and exited the room and walked to the dungeoun.
"Well here's a surprise, I was expecting Stella to be the first to check in after the big news." Crowley greeted me.
"She's gone, Crowley."
He paused. "What?"
"She ran away."
"That stupid girl. She does realize an army of angels and demons are trying to kill her!" He yelled.
"She knows, and she didn't seem to care. She just needed to leave."
Crowley shook his head. "I don't want her to die. I want to be cured." He sighed.
"What?" I uncrossed my arms and gave him a hard look.
"Don't find it too shocking. She was a lot kinder than you lot when it came to helping me. Of course I grew to like her a little more. She's also made to bring peace, and well you might say I was affected by it."
"You want to help her?" I confirmed
He paused and gave me a look. "Please, let me help."
Dean's P.O.V (please listen to the song that Dean talks about here and read along with the lyrics on here. It'll really add to it, I promise).
I walked into Stella's room and quietly shut the door behind me. On her night stand was her Ipod that she absolutely adored and it made me sad to see it without her owner. I sat on her bed and turned it on to see a picture of her and her friend smiling back at me. I smiled at seeing her smile again and unlocked her Ipod to see her music open. The last song that she was listening to was Come Home by One Republic and I smiled at how chill her music was. I lied back on the bed and hit play on the song and closed my eyes to listen. Of course, the song fit the situation perfectly.
"Hello world, hope you're listening. Forgive me if I'm young, speaking out of turn. There's someone I've been missing, I think that they could be the better half of me. They're in the wrong place trying to make it right, but I'm tired of justifying." I smiled a sad smile as tears spilled out of my eyes. I hate admitting it, but I liked the song.
"So I say to you, come home, come home, 'cause I've been for ya for so long, for so long. And right now there's a war between the vanities, but all I see is you and me and the fight for you is all I've ever known, so come home." I shook my head as the tears came harder. "Dammit, Stella, come home."
"I get lost in the beauty of everything I see, the word ain't half as bad as they paint it to be. If all the sons and all the daughters stop to take it in, well hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin. It might start now, yeah, or maybe I'm just dreaming out loud." When the chorus started up I sang with it quietly wishing that Stella could hear it.
"Everything I can't be is everything you should be, and that's why I need you here. Everything I can't be is everything you should be, and that's why I need you here..." They repeated the chorus one last time and it ended. I paused the song so silence would fill the room where Stella was supposed to be. I sighed and got off her bed and walked out. I looked back in one last time and whispered "Goodbye, Stella. I wish you knew I cared."
