I lay in bed, staring at my ceiling listening to the sounds of my house. Little ticks from pipes and creaky things behind the walls, things that grew to comfort me well doze off. My dog roaming around downstairs, everything in place.  I roll over and read my clock which says 3:00 am. My breath is silent as concrete, just like everything in my house. The sound of my heart, beating to its normal rhythm. A piece of blonde hair fell onto my face – I quickly tuck it back behind my ear.

I hear my dog run out of her bed, her paws tapping against the hardwood floor. I faintly hear her begin to growl, a low suspicious growl. As soon as she starts to growl she stops abruptly. I hear louder taps against the floor, louder taps, like feet, a person’s feet. My heart begins to thud, as I felt a chill run up my spine. I can hear someone I thought, I know it. I flung myself up from my bed. I grab a zip-up and zip it up over my lose t-shirt.

I quickly, but quietly go down stairs. I look around in my kitchen, but nothing expect for the dim night light that has been on for eternities. I walk slowly into my living room, to see if I could spot, anyone, anything, something out of the ordinary - But nothing.  All of a sudden a feel a gust of cold air push me backwards. I nearly fall, my heart pounds for a mintue or two but I regain my balance and look around but all I see is darkness.

After moments of standing there observing my living room, I start to feel stupid and babyish. There was nothing down here; I’m just super overtired.I think as I make my way back up to my room. I climb back into my bed and push down any leftover fear. As I lay in my bed I start to feel the air go stiff, there was some sort of awkward presence in my room. I sit up once again and look around. I scan my room, my eyes crawl over to the corner to my room, I notice a dark outline, darker than my room had already been. My heart starts doing flips, the outlined was moving forward? Towards me? Fear burned my skin as I pushed myself back till I jammed against my headboard. The dark figure had disappeared. My eyes try to locate something where the figure had just been, but nothing. I sigh to myself. Im seeing things, I told myself. Then again I gust of wind whirled around my face. I catch my breath and my heart leaps almost out of my throat. Still pushing against my headboard I jam my eyes shut for moments. After the stillness of my room seems to be fulfilled like once more and my heart clams down, I open my eyes to another set of eyes. Gold, orangish eyes. Something that seemed humanly impossible. As the figure was close enough now that I could make out his manly chiseled face which seemed well proportionate, his hair seemed to glow a type of silky gold. Or at least that’s what I thought, considering that I was in a completely dark room, so wasn’t sure how I could see anything.  As I begin to realize what was actually going on, my heart starts plunging at my chest and my airways feel like they’re closing. I try to scream, but nothing comes out, I try kick and get out of my bed, but nothing happens I couldn’t, move, talk, or anything and before I knew it everything had gone black, completely black.
