~Annas POV~
I braided my hair and threw on Yoga pants, a pink light sweatshirt, and light makeup.
I heard a beep grabbed my phone and skipped out. "HEYYY GIRLZ" I said. "HEY AN!" They said in Unsion. Ally, Alexa, and Airy were all giggling as soon as we got to the mall talking about there boyfriends. I guess thats the cost of being ugly and single. I frowned. "Hey! Its Cam!" I looked up and saw cam. Alexa's boyfriend. She ran over to him. "Im going to stick with Cam for a while guys!" She said clenching onto Cams arm.
Me and Cam were good friends. Just didn't hang out a lot. They walked off. We walked for a bit then we saw a very familiar pair of blue and brown eyes, "Its Nash and Tay!" Airy and Ally screamed. "An were going to hang out with them for a bit!" I nodded and forced a smile. Ally was Taylor's girlfriend and Airy was Nash's. They walked off.
I sighed and got Starbucks then walked home. I know my way home from the mall yes. I laid on my bed staring at the ceiling. I was bored. I was left out a lot yes. I have a lot of friends? No. Do I cut? Yes. Matt doesn't know I cut. I had to get all the sadness out. I got up and headed to my bathroom. I grabbed my knife and slid it down my skin.
As soon as I was satisfied. I put bandages on and threw on a sweatshirt. I heard a knock on my door. "Hey An? Open up its Matt" I opened the door. "Hey" he sat on my bed. "So I want to hang out you busy tonight?" I shook my head. "Welll. Do you want to go to a Yankees game with me?" I jumped up and hugged him. "YASS!" I nodded. "Okay! Meet me at my door at 5:30 the game starts at 7:00 but were going to get food and there might be traffic" I nodded.
It was 4:00 right now. I already was dressed so I just watched Tv until 5:25 came. I jogged over to Matts house and knocked on the door. He opened it.
He wore Blue Jeans and A blue t-shirt and He wore sneakers. Even though it was a simple outfit he looked h-o-t.
He smiled. "Hey An. Ready?" I smiled and nodded. Matt hopped into the car and I hopped in. "Where too?" I asked. "Um McDonalds?" He replied. "Okay." We drove their. I ordered 4 piece nuggets and a unsweetened ice tea with no fries. I was on a diet trying to get skinnier. (Yes I know Vanessa is super skinny and pretty just play along) "is that all An?" Matt asked with a worried expression. "Yeah" "you've been eating less whats wrong?" He asked. "Nothing I'm on a diet." "An!" He looked worried then angry. "You don't cut do you?" I sighed. "Give me your wrists." I gave him my arms.
He pulled up my sleeves and saw my new bandages. He pulled me into a hug. "Oh My god I am so sorry An. I love you so much. If someone hurts you again then tell me ill beat them up" I pulled away and smiled. "I will Matt I love you too"
We meant I love you as in friends but right after he said that I felt butterflies in my stomach.
"Awe are you guys a couple?" The lady at the counter asked as she handed us our food. Matt chuckled "no were just best friends."
My heart just broke into a million pieces. Shattered like glass. 'No were just best friends' Matt had said. I wanted to break down right there. But not here. Not in front of Matt.
A tear slipped out but I quickly wiped it away. Matt handed me my food and I smiled.
"Thanks" I say. He just nods. He thanks the lady and pays her next we drive to the field we finished our food and headed inside it was now 6:59. In a minute the guy came onto the loud speaker.
"HELLO LADYS AND GENTLEMAN! WELCOME TO THE YANKEES GAME! I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOURSELVES!" We had a fun time. We laughed and danced whenever a song came on. We would do the wave. "Now lets do Smile cam!" The announcer announced. We smiled and we got on the Jumbotron. I didn't know at first. Matt tapped me and pointed up. I screamed and waved. "JUMBO-TRON!" I screamed and laughed. "WE WERE ON TVVVV!" I said. "Yeah. I was too." Matt said. We watched the game until the kissing cam came on. I was really hoping me and Matt don't get put on that. Because apparently he only thinks of me as a 'best friend' I frowned. "Um An. Kiss me" I frowned.
"What?" "Were on the jumbotron again kissing cam kiss me." "Um okay." He pulled me into a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I felt him smile into the kiss which made me smile too. It felt good. But Anna he's only your best friend. I told myself. He pulled away and smiled up to the camera.
When he kissed me. I felt sparks. Honestly. It was amazing. To bad he's only my best friend. My heart shattered into a million pieces again. Every time I think of that my heart re shatters
