Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Matthew Murdock he got blind while trying to save an old mad unfortunately for him after pushing the man away he falls on a barrel of acid which splashed on his eyes which blinded him, later on, he was taken to a hospital at least they were able to stop the pain so when they got home the dad had to go for a match because he was a boxer but what the dad didn't know was that the acid that poured on him gave him the power of super hearing so while they were talking because the dad was the greatest boxer they threatened him that for the final round he shouldn't fight or else they were going to kill him & his son.
