Chapter 1

Melody's POV

"Ariana, I'll miss you so much." I say with tears in my eyes. Giving her the final bear hug. "I'll miss you too,I'll call you when I land." She said. Ariana is my bestfriend, I knew her since I was five years old, we moved in together two years ago and I have to say it, we became like sisters. Now that she is leaving London to go to America to study in New York I'll be all alone .... but I'll be going to college soon and hopefully make some new friends.When I exit the airport the cold breeze of January hits me so I run my way to my car and went home.I arrived home at about 6:30 in the morning which leaves me enough time for me to get dolled up for my first day of school. I wore my white vans with black skinny jeans and a white T-shirt with the peace sign on the front.I arrive at school half an hour early so I choose to go and for some after school activities.This year I decided to try cheerleading,I figured it's something nice to do and at the same time I'll try to stay fit. As I enter the gym I find a couple of girls wearing cheerleaders uniforms but I spotted something else,something unique,something that I never thought I'll be seeing.Those eyes sparkled from miles away but as that smile left the gym I came back to planet earth.Who was that guy? Where is he? I need to find out! After standing still for about 5 minutes a guy passes by my side and grabs my bum,I turned around to slap him by he easily too fast and grabbed my wrist before it came in contact with his face and said,"Hello babe I'm Robert see you later." and left without any other word but that smile was NOT pleasing me at all,let's just hope I'll never see him again.As,I walked closer to those girls I recognize one of them, Eleanor! Eleanor,Ariana and I used to be best friends but Eleanor had to move to London at the age of eleven because of her parents' divorce.As she realized who I am she screamed my name,making everyone stare at us as she hugged me tight.She is still the same Eleanor with that big smile showing her white teeth,she has became more beautiful."Please tell me you're here to sign for cheerleading"she said expecting a yes as an answer."Yes,I'd like to join if that's ok"I say.Eleanor responds,"Yay,welcome to the cheerleading squad.That's Rachel,Ella,Nadia and Vicki,guys I'd like you to meet Melody."
