"Why should I get flowers?" Jaehwan looked at Minhyun who was bending down to check the different type of flowers he needed for his next photo shoot with the mentally ill Hospital kids. "You are meeting your crush at her home and don't even want to bring flowers? That's really douchey of you." MInhyun simply announced and continued to look at the flowers. "Are these for Yeolhee-noona?" Jaehwan asked bending down to Minhyun who shook his head. "It's for the kids who got mentally ill due to physical illnesses. I want them to lay on a bed of flowers. Yeolhee wrote a beautiful one-shot about it." The Photographer spoke and Jaehwan sighed.
"Wow, your life is so interesting." Jaehwan rolled his eyes and stood up walking over to the Shop Clerk, a young woman with a bright smile. "How can I help you with?" Her name tag said Yoo Daeun and Jaehwan bit his lip. "So I am having a date with a girl and my friend said it's not nice if I don't bring flowers. But I know nothing about them so could you maybe help me?" He asked and the woman laughed.
"Flowers for a crush?" She asked and Jaehwan nodded. "She's really cute but I don't know her that well yet. All I know is that she is super friendly, cute and really adorable. The way her eyes sparkle when she talks is really pretty!2 Jaehwan said and the woman chuckled. "That's a big crush then. Roses are too straightforward." She then started to mumble looking at the various flower pots in front of her before starting to pick some various types of flower all in the same shade of pink.
She went to her little desk and starting putting the flowers together. With a smile, she handed Jaehwan the bouquet. "I added Tulips and Carnations in soft pink shades. Both of these flowers mean 'I Like You' and are not as bold and straightforward as a Red Rose would do. If you plan on giving the Girl another bouquet I'd recommend Sunflowers as they mean unconditional devotion and ever-growing love." Yoo Daeun handed Jaehwan the bouquet and he simply handed her his credit card. Surprised by her knowledge of flowers.
"Thank you for buying from us." The woman smiled and Jaehwan stared at the bouquet in his hands. He seriously just bought flowers. Starstruck by his own behavior he stepped outside of the shop waiting for Minhyun who had to make an order for the flowers to arrive on the day he needed them.
Stepping out of the flower shop he almost ran into a girl. "Omo, Jaehwan-ah!" The girl said and Jaehwan looked up at the girl. "Oh! Danbi-ah! What are you doing here?" He asked surprised and the smart girl chuckled behind her hand. "I am on my way to a study date..." Her eyes fell on the Bouquet. "Those are beautiful flowers!" She squealed and hid her cheeks. "Are these... Are you?" She looked away and Jaehwan looked at her confused.
"I'm honored!" Danbi squeaked and with a swift motion she took the Bouquet out of Jaehwan's hand and pressed it against her chest. "I can't believe you're that romantic! But I am glad you finally realized your feelings."
Jaehwan couldn't even react as Danbi stood on her tiptoes and stole a kiss from his lips. "I waited for you to finally confess!" Danbi smiled after stepping back again. "Thank you, Jaehwan. Seriously. Sadly I am busy with the study date today but we can go to the Cinema tomorrow or something." Danbi brushed her hair out of her face and turned around to leave but Jaehwan held her by the shoulder.
"Those aren't for you and I don't like you like that," Jaehwan said and wanted to take the Flower Bouquet from Danbi. "Are you serious? They're not for me?" She asked and Jaehwan nodded firmly. "Those are not yours." He repeated and Danbi frowned.
"But we are meant to be, Jaehwan!" She said loudly but Jaehwan shook his head. "We're not. I'm not into you."
Danbi opened her mouth and let out an annoyed breather. "If those are not for me, no one should have them." And with these words, Danbi slammed the flowers on the floor and stepped on them. "Duck you, Jaehwan!" She screeched before stepping on the now ruined flower bouquet and stepping away.
Jaehwan opened his mouth and stared at the flowers mortified. He knelt down and tried to pick them up, but the beautiful Tulips fell apart. His bottom lip started to shake and he looked into the direction Danbi had walked. "Why did you do that!" He yelled but his voice broke halfway through the sentence.
"Jaehwan, I'm done" Minhyun froze when he saw Jaehwan kneeling in front of the flowers, whimpering. "Are you crying?" Minhyun asked shocked and knelt down to his best friend. "Seo Danbi" Jaehwan sniffed, trying to cover the fact that he was indeed crying, "I bumped into her and we had a misunderstanding and she ruined them."
The bell of the flower shop was heard once more. "What happened?" Yoo Daeun's soft voice came from above and Jaehwan and Minhyun looked at her. Her eyes fell on the flowers immediately. "Who did that?" She asked and picked them up from the floor.
"A jealous woman." Minhyun simply stated and Daeun looked at Jaehwan. "Give me five minutes. I make you a new one." With these words the florist disappeared in the shop while Jaehwan was still sniffing. "I was suddenly really happy giving flowers to Bona. But Danbi ruined it." Jaehwan confessed. "I knew Danbi had a crush on me, but I wasn't interested in her at all."
Minhyun listened to his best friend rant about the difficult classmate of his. "She is good-looking and all. But her personality is rotten. She treats other classmates like trash and is just plain rude to people who are not as smart as her highness. And she wondered how I couldn't fall for her." Jaehwan snickered when the bell of the door rang again.
Both males turned around to Yoo Daeun holding a beautiful bouquet of yellow Sunflowers that she had tied together with a bright orange bow. "This is for free. You dealt with this girl ruining the pink one so I give you this as a freebie." Daeun smiled and handed the bouquet to Jaehwan who was smiling brightly.
"Thank you so so much," Jaehwan said and looked at Minhyun. "I have to get ready to meet her. Maybe I'll get a snack somewhere as well!" With a bright smile Jaehwan ran off and Daeun chuckled. "I'll deliver your order on Thursday morning then," Daeun said when Minhyun waved her to rush after Jaehwan.
