I wanted to talk to Derek so bad about the fight. I just didn't know how to say that I was proud of him for standing up to Brad. Why is it so hard to talk to your boyfriend about problems you have with other boys? Maybe it is just the fact that I never could break up with Brad myself. I can't believe that Derek would do that for me. He is my hero.

I walked up to Derek's front door. It opened before I could even knock. Derek pulled me in for a huge hug and said that he wouldn't have ever hurt me, even if the fight got bad enough. I love that he is caring enough that he ensures that I am okay. I love him.
Derek is still the only one and the only thing that matters to me. Nothing else in the world will stop that, but I know who will try. The very same person that told Derek about Brad.
