This takes place before The Lost Hero and after The Last Olympian...

Percy's POV

I just had another nightmare. I was being pulled through a tunnel. *The tunnel  got darker and colder. The hairs on my arms bristled. It smelled evil downhere. It made me think of things I shouldn't even know about-- blood spilled on an ancient stone altar, the foul breath of a murderer.* (That was a passage from The Lightning Thief) I was eventually pulled into a dark cavern. In the center of the dreary cavern was a chasm. It was deep and dark and I could feel the evil, I could feel things... stirring. Then I heard an evil laugh, Kronos. The pit or chasm, it was Tarturas. Then I was whipped into another place, the Throne Room on Olympus for the gods and goddesses. I saw Luke, but with the golden eyes he had when Kronos was inside his body. Lu-Kronos was looming over Annabeth who was on the ground at the mercy of his sword backbiter. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth and she said, "Family, Luke. You promised."

Even though I knew what happened next and that she was alright, I still tried to reach out and help her, but to no avail. I couldn't move like in any other stupid nightmare some immortal threw at me. "Annabeth!" I shouted.

Then I was in another place, but I didn't know where. It looked like a jail cell. The walls were made of rock, metal bars made a door and a small uncomfortable looking bed was in the corner. I saw a figure on top. I got a closer look and saw that it was Annabeth. Annabeth! I heard footsteps coming in and I turned around. Annabeth sensed them too and she croaked helplessly, "Please, go away." A man stepped forward with a sword and stabbed Annabeth.

Then I woke up with a cold sweat. I've been having dreams like that a lot lately, flashbacks from moments in the Titan War followed by visions of Annabeth dying in gruesome ways, knowing I couldn't have helped. I took a look at my watch and it read 7:00 A.M. I might as well get dressed for the day, I thought. It was too early for breakfast so I got dressed, left my cabin and headed to the sword-fighting arena to hack at some dummies, but I saw that someone was already hacking away. Her beautiful blonde hair in her signature ponytail, her orange camp tee, shorts and black converse were stabbing the dummies with such agility that I stared at her in awe. She stopped to take a break and grab a drink of water. I snapped out of it.

"Hey Annabeth!" I said.

"Hey Seaweed Brain! What's up? You're not normally up at this ungodly hour."

"Nightmare." I replied. Just that one word explains so much all of the time.

"Oh, do you want to talk about it?"

"Nah, I actually came here to take my mind off things."

"K, do you want to dual?"

"Sure Annabeth." I took out Riptide and uncapped it. The Celestial Bronze glowed in the rising sun. I stepped forward while Annabeth picked up her knife. Then we started to dual. Good, kind normal boyfriends would let their girlfriends win, but I'm not normal, good and kind, yes, but not normal. We went all out, her especially since I had the curse of Achilles. I took one solid strike towards her sholder, but she used her signature move and caught my blade on the hilt of her dagger. That was the move she used to stop Kronos. Our swords clanged and clashed for a few seconds. I was just playing with her. I did a 180 on my left heel. And used MY signature move. It was the first move I ever learned, taught to me by the one and only Luke Castellan. I twisted Annabeth's blade with the flat of my sword and her knife clattered to the ground. She picked up her knife and walked over to me. I stepped a little closer. I gave her a smug smile and said, "I won." I leaned in for a kiss, but I saw Annabeth smile, the way she does when she is about to do something, uh-oh. She knocks Riptide out of my hands, rolls behind me and jumps on my back, holds her knife to my throat, gives me a small peck on the cheek and said, "No, I won." She smiled, hopped off my back and I pulled her in for a short, but passionate kiss.

"Love you Wise girl," I say when I finally pull away.

"Love you too Seaweed Brain." Then I heard a conch horn blow in the distance and I knew it was time for breakfast. We walk hand in hand to the mess hall give each other a quick kiss and a, "Miss you," and head to our tables.

I love my Wise Girl...

I don't own PJO or HOO. Rick Riordan does. I'm very sorry, I know this is really bad, I'll try to think of better ideas soon!
