Y/N = Your name (Y/A/N = your apprentice name, and so forth.)
I'll insert things like "O.C. Fur" or "O.C. Eye color" in places where you need to insert these things.

The golden evening sun warmed your (O.C. Fur) pelt as you stretched, belly up, across the rock. ThunderClan had just won the skirmish between them and RiverClan over Sunningrocks, and it was well worth a few scratches to be able to release all your tension into the warm stones, which seemed to absorb every ache you could have.
Bluefur lay on the rock below you, purring happily. Her eyes were closed, so much so that if you weren't looking hard enough, you'd think she were asleep. She seemed to be doing the same as you, contently flicking her tail here and there.
If only it were always this peaceful. You flicked your ears at the uneasy thought. Recently, Sunstar had lost another life, and the Clans around you seemed more hostile than ever. ShadowClan seemed ready to slice your ears off if you even so much as mewed a friendly, "Hello." WindClan was even more defensive lately, glaring at border patrols as if they were attack patrols. And RiverClan, well, they were just defeated in battle, so they weren't going to be friendly any time soon.
Another cat leaping up onto your rock startled you out of your thoughts. Momentarily, you were prepared to face another RiverClan cat, but you relaxed as you caught the familiar sight of a long, golden pelt, now laying next to you.
"How's it going, (Y/N)?" His deep green gaze burned into yours, his mew friendly. Certainly better than the hostile glares I've been getting all afternoon, you thought with a sigh.
Shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you perked up your mew, not wanting to sound upset. "I'm finally relaxed, if that counts for anything." You lay your head on your paws, relishing the warmth surrounding you.
Lionheart purred. "Of course it does. You seem to have been on edge for the past quarter moon. Is everything alright?" He licked your ear. "You know you can tell me if something's bothering you. You don't need to act happy all the time. Everyone has their moments." He sighed peacefully.
As you turned to look at him, you noticed how much the sun caught his pelt, making it look like he was the sun. His eyes were closed, his thick pelt catching the breeze. He looked like he was from the great LionClan, maybe even the leader. He sat with so much confidence, so much authority, it was hard to believe he was only a warrior.
Although he is so much more... You closed your eyes, content with the day.
When you awoke, a pink sky was beginning to show through the faded blue of dawn. For a moment, you forgot about the previous day's events, fluffing out your fur against the cool breeze. As you went to stand, however, you suddenly remembered you were on Sunningrocks—although you realized it too late.
Your hind paws slid on the smooth stone surface, causing you to lose your balance. Frantically, you scrabbled your claws to try and find a crook to dig them into, but to no avail. You landed with a thump, ungracefully on the dewy grass.
As if your dignity couldn't be hurt any further, Lionheart padded from the bushes, purring loudly, two mice dangling from his jaws.
He stepped quickly towards you, setting a mouse down in front of your paws. You ducked your ears in embarrassment. "How much did you see...?" You mewed before taking a bite of the mouse in front of you.
Lionheart purred again. "Enough to see you flailing your paws like a mouse-brain!" He licked your ear. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone."
Suddenly, you had a sick feeling in your belly when you realized that Lionheart was possibly breaking the code by giving you the prey.
"Did you just catch these? You fed the Clan first, right?" Lionheart swatted you playfully with his tail. "Of course I fed the Clan. I wouldn't break the code willingly." He shook out his pelt then sat beside you, taking a mouthful of the other mouse.
"I suppose you want to know what happened?" You nodded. Lionheart finished chewing, then mewed, "Well, yesterday at sundown you fell asleep here, on Sunningrocks. I didn't want you to be alone in case a RiverClan patrol attacked, so I stayed with you." He motioned to the rock that Bluefur had been on the day before. "That's the rock I was on. Anyway, when morning came, I decided to go and hunt for the rest of the Clan, and afterwards bring you back some food. When I got to camp, nobody knew where you were, and Sunstar was about to send out a patrol, but I told them you were here, and that I'd been watching you all night to be sure nobody would attack you. Sunstar was relieved, and told me to take these here. So I did." He finished by taking another bite of the mouse.
For a brief moment, you wondered why Lionheart didn't just wake you up so you could go back to camp. It would've saved quite a lot of trouble, you thought silently, staring at your mouse and trying not to think about Lionheart's warm fur brushing against your own. It didn't make sense.
But then, it did.
Your pelt suddenly grew hot as you realized why Lionheart was so friendly towards you. Why he didn't want to wake you up. Why he brought you fresh-kill and watched over you all night to make sure no RiverClan warriors attacked. Why he's sitting so close to me right now...
You squirmed beneath your pelt. How do I feel about all this... You closed your eyes, trying to sort your thoughts, but that didn't last long. Lionheart slowly drew his tongue over your ears, sending waves of happiness buzzing through your belly. From the way Sunningrocks was set, the RiverClan camp couldn't see either of you, which was a good thing. We don't need them attacking when we least expect it.
You began to purr. It wasn't a choice. You knew exactly how you felt about Lionheart. His thick tabby golden pelt, glittering in the sunlight. His deep green eyes that had always held more than friendship when he looked at you. His deep purr, which had first appeared when you were both apprentices and you had tripped into a patch of wild garlic while tracking a squirrel. His loyalty, which he had always possessed within him. He wasn't just an ordinary warrior. He was much more. He was Lionheart.
A sudden absence of heat tugged you from your thoughts. You whipped around. Lionheart was walking back to camp.
"Where are you going?" Your mew sounded almost sad, much to your annoyance. Just because I am sad doesn't mean I need to show it.
Lionheart purred again, padding back toward you. "Back to camp. They'll be wondering where we've been. It's almost time for the hunting patrols to return. I went out to hunt before they did, so it'll seem odd." He wrapped his tail around your neck. "Plus, it's warmer there."
You rolled your eyes. "Fine. But I'll go back on only one condition." Lionheart kneaded the dewy grass. "What?"
"You have to stay with me all day." You flicked your ears playfully.
"(Y/N), I was going to do that anyway." He nuzzled your neck fur. "And one other thing." He licked your cheek, then added, "I love you."
You purred. Quickly, you ran to press yourself close to him, then replied, "Lionheart, I love you, too."

Ok! It's finished! Finally! I think I have writer's block. Just—just maybe. That's why I haven't updated in.... A week-ish. Oof. That's a long time.
Well, it's done now. So don't yell at me. Also, post requests in the comments!
And as always, may StarClan light your path!
