Prologue

In years forgotten, in times that have changed, a world where life has fought hard to live.

Generation Ghost

A life where Demons, Ghost, and Ghouls have come to take their world back. They took the humans by surprise, and killed thousands. But the humans fought a hard and long war known as "The Demons Trail". The war lasted 189 years, but humans slowly and painfully won. With help of the Ghost, who betrayed their allies, they became an unstoppable force.

The Ghost felt as if they were helping the enemy, because the Ghost where once humans too. They had no memory of their past life, only their names. They where told that once they felt the livings air they would be set free to the normal life they always wanted, it was a lie. The Demons and Ghouls tricked them into helping them, in the end it cost them the war. The Demons and Ghouls where locked in realm where they could see us, but not touch, harm, or speak to us.

The Ghost wanted to help the humans, but humans could not see Ghost. The Ghost where smart. They used a curse called "Imprinting". A tattoo was placed on a new born baby, and only that person could see their Ghost. The one of the problems are the tattoo had to be covered at all times or the human would see every Ghoul, Demon, and Ghost and would be driven into insanity. Another problem was only 7 humans could have a Ghost. More than that would put a strain on the ghost realm. Once an Imprinted human dies another is born. Even after the war the Ghost continued to do this just case a Demon or Ghoul where to slip out.

The Demons where the master mines of the whole war. Demons where cunning and evil. They'd find a desperate and depressed minds, and would eat their soul slowly. They are everything evil in this world. They feed on negativity and grow stronger on every bad choice you make. This effected the war majorly as humans where dropping like flies. Then the Ghost stepped in and everything changed. See, the Demons only had two weakness, the Ghost and sun light. The Ghost where the only ones who could control the realms, without them the Demons and Ghouls wouldn't have been able to come over. So they needed the Ghost on their side. The Demons also can't come out in the day, they just disappear back to there realm. But they did have someone who cold go out for them, The Ghouls.

The Ghouls where stupid, but would do anything for a prize. So that's what the Demons did they set a prize, they told the Ghouls "You can eat as many humans that you want, as long as we win." So the Ghouls agreed. Ghouls always craved humans, they where vultures, eating the dead humans from there graves under ground. They could stand the sun and could only be killed by getting pierced by the heart. The Ghouls would attack by day and the Demons by night. Which exhausted the humans, and we almost lost.

Now over a hundred years later the Demons are seeping back into the world. The Imprinted need to find each other and fight.

Meet a imprinted girl named Raven, shes had no average life, but with her Ghost Edwind shes made it through thick and thin. Now living a peaceful life and teaching at Swords and Shields University. What will she do when her calm life is thrown into wack and is asked to fight?
