That boy came back, just like he promised. He's the only one who kept their promise, and it was a good one, too.
He jogged up to... what is it?
Oh right. the dreaded hospital bed.
"I told you I would come back!"
He says triumphantly.
"Oh, I was just afraid that I scared you away," I snorted.
"Im Cole," he says.
I nod, "Josie."
Cole, as I now call him, was scary tall. He walked up to the nurse and demanded they let me go with him.
They kept saying no.
His face turned red as a tomato, filled with anger.
Finally he composed himself.
"When can I take her out of here?" he asks.
"S-sir," the nurse stammers.
I zoned out again, not wanting to hear the argument. That isn't what happened though.
"I DONT WANNA HEAR IT!" He shouts.
The nurse goes pale as if she had just seen a ghost.
