I woke up from beautiful sleep and feel like death. I walk downstairs with every piece of my blond hair stick out of my pony tail. I find my little sisters have already pulled out every toy we have and made a giant mess. My dad was cooking scrambled eggs and singing the Scooby- Doo theme song. I sit down at the table and my dad says, "Hey Corrie, how was your night?" The light from our open doors pours into my face and I reply to him with a grunt.
He grunts back mocking me. I can't help at smile at how weird and funny he is.
"So... we're going to church today." he says cheerfully. I enjoy going but I don't really have any friends there, so I'm alone. As if already knowing what I was thinking he says," Corrie you do have friends at church. Okay? So we're going." I look down at my rainbow unicorn pajamas and decided that I was so abnormal. I was 16 and I wore unicorn pajamas... but they are comfortable. I smile to my self think of how childish I am. My dad places a paper plate in front of me with a pile of eggs. I picked up the shinny fork and stabbed the eggs. My older sister comes down stairs in her owl blanket, and sits in her seat like a bird. I say," Morning Marie." She stares down at her plate of eggs, picks up her fork and stabs her eggs and stares at them again... she doesn't like eggs.
When I'm done eating my breakfast I walk up stairs and get dressed. once I'm done brushing my hair my mom and dad yell," IT'S TIME TO GO!" Our family is large and very, very loud. I quickly slide on my flip- flops, and hop in the big blue van.
The ride feels like an hour but it was 20 minutes. I step out of the car and on to the side walk. I stair up at the giant stone building. The building I go to is down the street. I wait for the shuttle to come pick me up. I stair at my feet saying," Hi" to a few people I know.
The shuttle arrives, and I step on to the dirty metal steps. I sit in the leather seats. We ride down the street to the warehouse. I step on to the side walk and open the metal handle. I step on the carpeted floors and walk over to a chair. I take out my a book I and sit there reading until I hear the music calling me to go in the room with the black plastic chairs, and take a seat.
After it was over I back over to the chair and wait for the shuttle to come back. Before I started reading agin, a boy walks over and sits across from me. I ignore him can continue with my book. " Hi," he says trying to get my attain," I'm Andrew." I look up from my book and say," Hello." and returned back to my book. "What's your name?" he asks. "Corrie," I say.
"Has anyone told you your really pretty?"
I looked up at him and get a better look at him. His hair is a lighter brown and whipped off to the side. He wore a plaid shirt and blue jeans.
" Your joking with me. Was it a dare?" I ask quickly.
He replies by saying," No I'm not joking."
The shuttle arrives, I shut my book and carry it like its a teddy bear. I hurry to the shuttle before it leaves. I stair out the window at the cars passing by. The shuttle comes to a stop. I push myself up, and walk towards the door. I see my family standing in the middle of the strangely crowed room, and walk I over to them. We go to the car, and drive home.
When we arrive I go up to my bed and stair up at the roof. Thinking.
