For the first time in her life, she was in love. Hopelessly, and desperately in love. The boy who stood before her, he fixed her and she no longer felt broken. He put each tattered piece back into place and kissed each tear from her eyes.
This boy that she was so hopelessly in love with, had the ability to completely destroy her for the rest of her life. He could rip each piece away and she would still love him unconditionally. He consumed her thoughts and her heart beat to his name. She just hoped and prayed that he felt the same way.
One phone call, that's all it took. Her heart felt like it was being ripped from her chest. Screams of pain rang out and tears flowed freely from her glassy eyes. The same boy that promised to never hurt her, gripped her heart with words and pulled it from her chest, still beating. And in one moment, her world came crashing down around her and she was standing alone in it's fallen debris.
