When I first stepped into this university I know things would get crazy for me. When I say crazy, I really fucking mean it.
Sitting on my bed in this dorm, I don't fucking know what to write in my blog. I was blankly staring at my computer screen, waiting for an idea to pop in my head.
"Damn it," I shouted a little bit.
"Woah hold your vocal chords," It was Emily.
Emily is my room mate, she has a curly brown hair that's very long that it touches her butt. She has brown eyes and a pout smile.
"Sorry about that, it's just that... It's very hard to think!" I said while laying down on my bed.
"Thinking about what?" She asked me while looking at her clothes in her clothes rack.
"Uhh nothing, just something personal," I said. I don't want anyone to know that I'm writing a blog. I just want to keep my identity as a blogger a secret.
"Well, if you're thinking about Kappa Rush happening tomorrow, you should pay your attention on it. What's your top pick?" Emily asked.
Kappa Rush is an event in our university wherein each sorority will "show off". And by the end of the day, a card will be given to us to pick our Top 2 sororities and the two head sorority leaders will receive the names of hopefuls and gets to pick who is worthy or not worthy to be in their sorority. If you get chosen by two sororities, it's for you to pick.
"Kappa Tau Mua," I said.
Her jaw dropped, "Cassie, are you serious? Kappa Tau Mua? Are you out of your mind? That sorority is like the hardest to get in to, especially when you're..." She said faintly pointing out my outfit.
"So what if I like my style black? A person once told me that pink matches with black."
"Well, tell that person to stop using drugs," she said while tucking herself in bed.
"Well, you'll never know, I'll try my luck,"
"Tell your luck to try harder,"
I let out a faint laugh and turned off the lamp as I said goodnight.
The next day, Emily and I were woken up by a loud sound of a trumpet being played outside our room.
"Ladies and Gents, Kappa Rush will start in 10 minutes!" a random person shouted.
"That was a nice wake up call," I said stretching my muscles from a very nice sleep then I sat down on my bed.
"Nice? I call that fucked up, I was dreaming about Channing Tatum," Emily said as she still lay down on her bed with her eyes wide open and still red from her sleep.
"He was about to kiss me!" She continued.
"The guy's married, Emily," I told her as I giggled.
"I know, but I can't control my desires you know," she jokingly winked at me and we laughed our asses off. "I'll take a shower first if that's okay with you?"
I nodded as she stood up and went inside the bathroom. I then pulled out my laptop underneath my bed and started typing my blog entry.
Blog entry #20
I can't believe that this is my 20th entry! As you all probably know, as stated in my previous entry today is the day I'm in university. It's also a special day today because we'll get to pick our sorority. But what I really want to tell you guys is my room mate, she's really funny buuut weird, today she told me she dreamt about being almost kissed by Channing Tatum, I mean the guy is married. She is definitely disgusting but funny. Well that's all for now, chat with ya'll soon!I closed my laptop and put it back underneath my bed. Just in time when Emily went out of the bathroom soaking wet.
"Your turn," she said heading straight to her clothes rack.
As I was taking a shower, I had second thoughts if my decision is final in choosing Kappa Tau Mua. Because choosing a sorority might change who I am but, I won't let that happen. I've learned to secure myself and won't let anyone to change myself.
When I went out of the bathroom, to my surprise, ton of clothes are laid down on Emily's bed.
"Did a hurricane struck your bed while I was gone," I joked.
"Haha very funny, I'm just trying to find the cutest outfit alright? I want to give out the best first impression!" She said as she helplessly find the perfect clothes.
I smile as I shook my head, it's my turn now to choose what clothes I'll wear. Without any hesitation I chose this sweater that says Westside on it and a black leggings.
"Woah sister," it was Emily. "If you want to give the boys a sight to die for, go for a top that's much shorter than that,"
I rolled my eyes at Emily, "I'm not dressing up to impress the boys, I'm just dressing up this way because this is who I am,"
"Well, if you say so," she said still undecided on what to wear. If she keeps on doing that as her morning routine she'll miss half her life.
"Well, I'll go outside. 3 minutes until 10 minutes is up," I said putting on my favorite pair of sneakers.
"Wait, wait!" Emily shouted.
"What?" I turned around thinking what she might say.
"You can't wear those shoes,"
"Why? They're my favorite pair!"
"Wear those," she pointed next to my sneakers.
"Combat boots? I don't wear boots!"
"Come on, it will look great on you, trust me," she said.
I started at her for a second and rolled my eyes, "Fine,"
Emily smiled and turned away as I put on her combat boots... And damn they're a pair Steve Madden footwear.
When I first opened the door, what caught my attention were girls in these very short and skin tight dresses standing near the boys' hallway.
I rolled my eyes and began to wander around the campus, not far from the building.
