"Marius, you need to go to bed. You can't deprive yourself every single time you're given something to do. I know you want to pass this written test but please... get some sleep, I'm missing you." Monika had her arms wrapped around the mans neck, her chin resting on his shoulder from behind.
"Alright... fine." Marius sighed, rubbing his face with his palms.
"Danke... now come on." Monika gently released her arms and stepped back, waiting for her boyfriend to get up. Once he did, she took his hand and directed him into their bedroom.

Marius sleepily pulled off his shirt and climbed into the bed, trying to get comfortable. Monika got in with him, staying close to him.
"I know that there is a lot on your mind and it may not be able to be easy to sleep but, please try. I love you a lot." Monika kissed his back and wrapped her left arm over his waist. Marius closed his eyes and put a hand warmly on hers.

Marius quickly fell asleep from about 30 hours of consciousness. The two days before he had been told that he will be given a test for his engineering skills to get a higher degree within it. He always tries too hard on tests according to Monika but he never realises it. He's always set on going over what he knows and what he needs to know. He always wants perfect marks.

However during the night, he woke up on numerous occasions. Every time he was either sweating or freezing. Marius decided that he'd snuggle up to Monika, wrapping both his large arms around her small waist. He buried his face into her hair and pressed his body against her, feeling how cold she was. Her body seemed to soften, as if she was tense from before it.

Late into the morning, Marius woke up with Monika still in his arms. She was awake and on her phone. Marius took a short intake of breath. He gently placed a kiss on the back of her head.
"I'm sorry for keeping you..." Marius whispered calmly, nuzzling behind her.
"It's fine, I'm really comfortable right now anyway so I'm not against it. I feel safe in your arms, Marius." Monika replied, turning her head slightly and putting her phone down.
"When did you wake up?" Marius released his embrace and pulled his arms towards his own body, allowing Monika to turn towards him in the bed.
"About half an hour ago... I was too comfortable to get out of bed so..."
"Oh, Ok..."
"What do you want to do today? You need to do something to get your mind off of things." Monika gave him a little smile.
"Hm, I'm not sure... what time is it?"
"It's about ten-ish..."
"Alright then... you think we could go out and have some lunch? The compound is getting a bit monotone..."
"Sure! Sounds like a good idea, Schatz."

Monika kissed her boyfriend gently, sitting up in the bed and sliding out. She yawned and stretched her arms.
"Jeez... what time do you want to leave?"
"Uh... around eleven?" Marius said sleepily, getting out of bed himself.
"Ok! Sounds like a plan." Monika stepped out of the room, taking one of Marius' hoodies with her.

Marius shuffled his feet out of the bedroom and into the bathroom, stopping just in front of the sink and mirror. He looked into the reflection of himself and turned on the cold tap. Marius tried to put some hair that was sticking up down with the water. After it, he splashed his face with the cold water and suddenly felt a little more awake than before.

Marius dried his face with a small towel and left the bathroom, stepping into the living room. He saw Monika over at the kitchen counter and she smiled at him. He went over to the sofa and sat down, sighing and putting his head back. Switching the tv on, Marius gazed at the blank screen. Monika sat next to him with two mugs, one with tea and the other with coffee. She put the coffee down in front of him on the little table.

"Danke," Marius smiled and leant forwards, clasping the mug in his hands.
"No problem, it's the least I can do." She kissed his cheek and snuggled into his side, feeling a protective arm wrap around her shoulders. Marius sipped from the coffee, instantly regretting it as his tongue became burnt.
"It's still hot..." Marius sighed and his face shouted the look of defeat.
"You'd complain if it was cold." Monika giggled, clutching the tea in her hands. Marius rolled his eyes and wait a while for the mug to stop being nuclear-grade temperature.

"Just walking into town, right?" Monika asked, pulling on her Bomber-Style jacket.
"Right, just into town." Marius nodded, pulling on his trainers and his coat. "Curse this countries horrible weather."
"Oh relax, we're going to have a nice, calm time to get your mind of things. Come on." Monika opened the door and walked out. Marius followed closely and locked the apartment behind them. He held his hand out for her and she took his hand, walking down the hallway then the stairs together hand in hand.

Their excitement was short lived as once they passed the armoury, they saw Ash, Montagne, Twitch, Glaz and Blackbeard walking out in full gear. They didn't notice the two Germans and jogged to the armoured truck that was waiting nearby for them. The confusion clouded over them, pulling at their imagination. Where were they going? Why was there no warning to the others? Why weren't they told?

"What's going on? Why weren't we told about a mission?" Marius asked 6, Monika standing beside him.
"The fact that you are demanding an answer from your superior officer is a surprising thing, I'm impressed by your bravery but do you really think that everyone needs to know?"
"Yes, I do. It's good to know so we could be saying goodbye for the last time. You can't just send them off without telling the other operators."
"I actually sent a message to everyone. Telling them that a mission to America is going underway. To save the two operators that have been kidnapped by the White Masks."

Marius stopped, realising what had just been said. He stepped back and looked at Monika, who was looking at him with saddened eyes.
"Alright, well... thank you, Six."
"Maybe next time you don't demand answers and ask quietly. Good day, Streicher. Good day, Weiss."

The couple left the room, glad that they were told yet angry that they weren't told about it earlier. Marius sighed and held Monika's hand again. They walked in silence, thinking over the past events. Some time soon, Elias and Vicente will return to them.

A/N: ok, well this one took longer than it should have but that's ok because I'm not dead. Hope this was ok? I don't know... it felt rushed. I will try harder on the next chapter!
