Before I start this I want to say thank you to @yepitsmorgan
She was the one who made this chapter and hopefully more ;) a whole lot better and BTW my bæ yepitsmorgan is the second author so give her credits too thank you!
"Hit me again," I say, drunkly. In the back of my mind, I know it is a bad idea, like, a really bad one. But then and there, I couldn't care less.
One, I just found out my boyfriend is cheating on me. Two, my mom called me earlier and told me my grandfather had a stroke, and to top it all off, I got fired from my job at Market Basket.
"Are you sure you want another one, ma'am?" a voice asks me from behind. I turn around on my bar stool, and in front of me I see a tall, muscular man with bright blonde hair. He seems slightly familiar, but I can't quite place his face.
"I can't be sure of anything anymore," I say sadly. All the man does is look into my eyes for a decent ten seconds and shake his head as a no. Ignoring him, I turn around to get my drink, but instead see the bartender walk away, mumbling something about how stupid I am.
"Come outside with me so we can talk," and the man walks off. Not wanting to be alone, I jump off the bar stool, grab my iPhone 5, and run through the bar.
I push open the heavy door and spot the mysterious man. I hobble over, my high heels making it difficult, and once I get to him, he looks into my eyes for the second time that night and sticks out his hand.
"My apologies ma'am, I'm Chay, and who are you?"
"I'm Courtney. I like your name. It's original, unlike mine; boring and stupid. Just like me," I rant in one breath.
"I don't think you're stupid or boring, you seem...exciting, not to mention you are very pretty," he added. I totally disagree with him. I have dark brown hair, tan skin (I'm Italian; it happens), blue eyes, and not to mention skinny as a stick. I don't know about you, but I call that boring.
"Thanks, I guess," I say, not meaning any part of it.
Right when he is about to speak, my iPhone rang. I hold up one finger and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Yes, Miss Durand, I have called to tell you that your apartment has been set on fire, and you can't come home. Sorry and goodbye," my landlord said, then hung up.
I pulled the iPhone away from my ear and screamed as loud as I could, "WHY ME?! FUCK MY LIFE!" I had momentarily forgotten that Chay was standing right right next to me.
Feeling everything crash down on me, I drop to my knees and start to cry.
Surprisingly, Chay crouches down to my level and pulls me into a huge hug. For a while, I just cry into his shoulder, not caring who saw. Finally, I look up into his electric green eyes. He says to me, "Let's go to my car so we can talk. Okay? I promise I won't hurt you." When I stare at him with a dubious look on my face, he adds, "Obviously because I care about you. Now, let's go."
I think for a moment, then take his outstretched hand. When we arrive at the parking lot, I look around for his car, but am unable to figure our which one it is. Chay smirks at me and unlocks his car. Of course, it's the goddamn Ferrari.
All of a sudden, the puzzle pieces come together and I realize who the mysterious but kind man is. The multi-million Chay Totti, who owns military weapons, Call of Duty video games, and way too much more for his own good.
"Oh my god, you're Chay Totti, the guy who makes all the cool weapons and the awesome Call of Duty games!" I say excitedly, with my cheeks still wet from crying.
"Yep, that's me," he blushes. "The one and only Chay Totti," he spreads his hands in a gesture, more or less meaning he owns the world. Then again, with that body, he could own my world, if you know what I mean.
Chay swiftly gets into the car as bright as his hair, and I shuffle over to the passenger-side door and step in. At that moment, with the famous Chay Totti, I almost forgot why I was half-drunk and crying into a stranger's arms not even twenty minutes ago.
Okay so that was my first chapter please reply and tell me how you think of it and what you would like to see more of in the story! Hell who knows I might even put a person you guys recommend into my story well thank you guys and stick around for chapter 2 and many more!
