The Nerd is The Bad Girl?

Chapter Ten

             _Chapter Ten_

        Relationships.

        "Well." I start then take a big breath of air.

        "When I was 15 my sister, Bonnie went into the army. A while back w-we got her dog tags." I say my voice cracking.

        "Well anyways my brother wanted to live up to her 'braveness' so he joined in her honor. Well me and my brother we very close, we did everything together. He helped me though my depression when we got Bonnie's tags so yeah. He said he would call as much as he could when he left, and he did for the first few months. Then he just stopped. The last words he said to me was 'I love you baby sis. stay strong.' I put on my fake smile and went on with life. I haven't herd from him since. although we haven't gotten his tags I'm pretty sure hes dead, he would have told me if he was still alive. Yup, that's about it. Oh wait Bonnie taught me how to fight when me and Gina started high school." I say as cheerfully as I could, as a tear slipped down my cheek.

        "Buttercup." Was all Tanner said before pulling me into a tight hug.  I didn't know I wanted to cry till I let out a strangled sob. I cried into his chest for God only knows how long before I pulled back.

        "Sorry about that." I say wiping my face to get away from the tears.

        "Its fine." Tanner said softly pushing a couple pieces of my Browb/blonde hair out of my face.

        "Okay enough with this mushy-gushy crap. I'm hungry." I say hopping up.

I got off the bed and went down stairs to the kitchen to see my mom.

        "Mom, I'm sorry I shouldn't have exploded on you like that it was wrong of me, and it wont happen again." I say giving her a hug.

        "No worries, I understand how you feel, but it better not happen again. Now tell me about you and Tanner." She said folding her hands arounf her coffee mug.

        "What do you want to know." I asked sitting down on the other side of the island.

        "The simple stuff, like you know how long have you been dating, how you got together, why you didnt tell me." My mom said like a teenaged girl, it was really weird

        "Ma, I swear you a teen aged girl." I say cracking a small smile.

        "I don't care. I want details."She said sipping on her coffee.

        "We have been dating--"

        "Two and a half weeks tomorrow." Tanner interrupted coming into the kitchen, shirtless, lik he has been sence we got here.

        "Aww that's sweet. How did you two meet?" My mother asked leaning forward slightly.

        "Well, I was at the library when I herd her ask where the book 'Divergent' was and I realsied I took the last copy. So when she went over to start looking for it. and let her take my copy." Tanner said sitting down next to me.

        "That is so cute." My mom gushed in a high pitched voice.

        "Yeah yeah,now can I get food?" I ask, my belly grumbling in return.

        "Yeah." Ma says with a slight laugh "What do you want?" My mom asked standing up.

        "Oh can you make bacon and chocolate chip pancakes?" I ask like a 5 year old girl.

        "Yes, but only because Tanner and the others here, and its your favoirte." My mom said moving to the stove.

        "Thank you mommy. I'm gonna go change." I say standing up.

I walk up the stairs and walk into my room to see Gina and Tonny sucking each others faces off.

        "I new it." I yelled making them split apart.

        "Its not what it looks like." Gina states in a panic.

        "Yeah it is, stop before for you behind." I state skipping to my closet.

I pull out a pair of galxy leggings and a black tank top and a pair of galxy vans. and a pair of random socks.

I walk over to my bathroom and close the door and close it behind me. I strip my body of clothing and hop in to the shower. I turn on the water and dart out the way before the cold blast of water could hit me. I wait in the coroner of the tub for it to heat up. Once it heated up I poured some vanilla sented shampoo  into my hand before lathering it into my hair. I repeated this but with my vanilla sented conditioner. Once I rinsed my hair out I washed my body with my lavender sented body wash. I rinsed my body off and turned off my shower and stepped out and grabbed my towel to dry off before slipping into my cloths. I brush my hair and put it into a side braid. I then brushed my teeth and stepped out my bathroom into my room.

        "Bella, Your foods done!" My mom called from down stairs

        "Coming!" I yelled running down the stairs,perfect timing.

I ran into the kitchen hitting my pinky toe on the island.

        "fu-dam-shi- frack." I finally let out after all my catches.

        "Nice catch, bella." My mom teased with a smirk.

        "yeah, I know amazing." I say sticking out my tongue.

I grab my food that my mom was holding out to me and sat down next to Tanner on the island. Gina and Tonny were having there own conversation quitly eating there food.

        "So, Tonny, Gina. Want to explain what I saw earlier." I say cutting into what they were saying.

They turned to me like a deer caught in the headlights.

        "What ever do you mean?" Gina asked innocently while  shooting daggers at me with her eyes.

        "Well, when I walked up stairs you and Tonny were pretty much eating off each others faces." I say sweetly. I heard my mom drop her fork.

        "Gina and Tonny you never told me you were dating." My mom exclaimed.

        "Er.. Yeah mum we are." Gina said on the spot.

Gina and I have been friends sense like birth so we call each others parents our parents. 

        "Well every one has a boyfriend, I think I should get one too." My mom stated slapping her hands together

My dad left us When Bonnie died so yeah.

        "Mom please, not this again, your going to try to hook you up with my friends single parents." I say with a sigh

        "My dads single." Tonny states with an evil smirk. Shit. We. Are. Doomed.

        "Ohh is he cute." My mom chirped

        "Mom, I'm going to puke." I say moving from the island into the living room. I set my food on the table as soon as there was a knock on the door.

        "I will get it." I call out.

I walk to the door and turn the handle.
