The rising cheers of the audience resonated the court. A gold medal hanging down from his neck. The smell of sweat filling the air and heavy breathing. Months of hard work having been paid off... Karasuno's #10 smiled proudly along side his team mates. The flashing of cameras filling the space. Who would have thought the underdog team, Karasuno, would have won against the powerhouse school Shiratorizawa? The view on the other side of the net, the view #10, Hinata, saw during his last spike was one he would never forget. As the teams and audience began trickling out, Hinata's gaze wandered over towards the back of Karasuno's side. He could have sworn he had seen a familiar brown-haired figure from when he stood on the sidelines, waiting to be put back into the match.

It must have just been his imagination, Hinata had concluded, following his team out. His fellow team members, including himself, were surrounded by people congratulating them on their win.

Two familiar faces came running up to Hinata, both shedding tears of joy. "Hinata, you did it!" the light brown haired boy, Yukitaka shouted, giving his old friend a hug. Kōji had followed not too far behind Yukitaka, smiling and he quickly tried to wipe the tears from his eyes as he joined in the hug. Hinata smiled brightly, tearing up a bit again.

"Thanks for supporting me all these years," Hinata replied, gaining a blush from Kōji and a happy smile from Yukitaka. Slowly the team headed to the bus, exhausted. Hinata would take one last glance at the building. After days of nonstop volleyball, they finally get to move onto the big stage. Hinata was excited.

---

It's been 2 weeks since they won their match. Kageyama was attending the National Youth Intensive Training Camp as Hinata continued to train with Sugawara on his receives and serves. The orange haired boy missed spiking Kageyama's tosses, but it couldn't be helped that he was off training on his own. Practice ended but as usual Hinata stayed after to practice on his serves. An hour passed... then two until Hinata stopped to pick up all the volleyballs, take down the net and close up the gym for the night. As he made his way back home on his bike, a loud growling came from his stomach. Hinata decided to make a detour and went to a supermarket. Parking his bike, he entered and quickly made a beeline for the chip and soda isle, rushing around the corner only to bump into someone.

Hinata had instinctively closed his eyes on impact. "Ah, sorry," Hinata opened his eyes to be greeted with a turquoise and white striped shirt. He slowly looked up.

"Ehhhh? What's the chibi-chan doing here?" Hinata's gaze was greeted by a frowning Oikawa looking down at him. 'How unlucky to run into him so soon too...' Oikawa thought to himself, clicking his tongue childishly.

"AHHH!! The Grand King!" Hinata jumped back and pointed at Oikawa. This gained a few looks from some of the passing customers and a few whispers. Oikawa quickly picked up on this.

"Shhhh! Will you keep it down!" Oikawa had a finger to his lips as he tried to shush the little one. Hinata looked around, jumped a bit at the stares he was getting and nodded, slightly embarrassed. The customers quickly lost interest and continued on their way.

Oikawa had in hand a basket of groceries but still managed to cross his arms. "So? What are you doing here?" he had a bit of a bitter tone to his voice. Hinata noticed this and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Just heading home. Thought I'd grab a snack," he admitted. There was a moment of silence between the two.

"Ok. Cya," Oikawa began to walk past Hinata but was suddenly stopped by him, his eyes sparkling.

"Grand King, set for me!" Hinata was back to being his normal loud self, grinning widely. Oikawa frowned again.

"Hmph. No, just go ask Tobio-chan," he said childishly, sticking his tongue out at the smaller boy. Hinata looked down a bit.

"Ah... Kageyama's off at a training camp. I haven't been able to practice with him recently..." Hinata sounded unhappy admitting this, Oikawa could tell.

"Well, it's not like you don't have Mr. Refreshing," Oikawa shrugged, attempting to walk off again before being stopped by the tugging at the back of his shirt attempting to keep him there.

"I also need help with serves and receives and I want to receive the Grand Kings serves! They go all WHAM and UWAH!" Hinata said sincerely as he re-enacted hitting a volleyball at full strength with his arm. Oikawa couldn't help but smile a bit. The shrimp was kind of cute. He got the feeling that Hinata was also complimenting him, which also made him secretly happy.

"Well... I guess I have some free time on Monday," the brown-haired male said slowly, unsure if he really wanted to give up his free time to help someone who was his enemy. He watched as the shrimp's eyes began to shine with a big warm smile. 'Like the sun,' Oikawa thought to himself.

"Ah! Awesome!!" Hinata was excited. Tsukishima always seemed to train to Kuroo and Bokuto, so Hinata wanted to train with another team as well.

Taking out his cellphone, the two exchanged numbers. Oikawa did a little wave as he walked off to go check out and Hinata went to finally go get his snacks.

---

It wouldn't be till later on that Oikawa would arrive home. After putting away his groceries, Oikawa stepped into his room. Exhausted, he went to go lay on his soft bed, closing his eyes momentarily before remembering something. Taking his phone out, he scrolled through his contacts, noticing Chibi-chan's number and thought back on how he had agreed to practice once with him on his Monday off. He thought about his day tomorrow, humming to himself before he began to send him a message.

Meet me at Aobajōsai at 4:30. Even a minute late and I'm leaving~
