Romance/fantasy

There was once a girl named Mary. She was in love with a man named Warren. Warren and Mary were together with some friends one day at a park when someone approached them with a sword. It was a man named Moggon. Only he wasn't a man at all. Not anymore, he was a man turned into a demonic creature and he was chasing a young woman around the age of 17. The young woman's name was Samantha. She had done nothing wrong and the only reason she was being chased was because the demon had sensed a sort of power from within her and wanted it for himself. Mary, being someone with a personality that wouldn't allow her to act in cowardice or fear ran towards the girl who had been backed against a tree in the park they were at.

Warren tried to stop Mary but by the time he reached her the demon had already cut her open from her left shoulder to her stomach. Thinking she was dead the demon left his sword in her collapsed body that lay at his feet and moved towards the other girl who was paralyzed by fear and could not move. What the demon didn't know, however was that the girl was in fact still alive (barely though). Mary used the last of her strength to stand up and remove the sword from her own body and stab the demon through the head. From the young girl against the tree all she could see was a blade coming through the demons head until it collapsed and died immediately in front of her.

Mary managed to stay standing for one more moment as she turned to look at the love of her life almost as if she was saying goodbye. With parting words she used the very last of her strength to say "Warren. I love You and I will find you again. Keep an open mind for me" and she drew her last breath. Warren was thrown into a fit of depression. He was even put on suicide watch. That day she died was also the day he had planned to ask her to marry him.

Warren moved in with his best friend Kodin and from that day forward he continued to live for Mary. He did things he thought she would approve of all while refusing to move on from her. About one year later Warren got a letter in the mail offering him a job position as an executive assistant to a high standing company that had been recently very popular. Obviously he was intrigued but he was also very confused being as he didn't have any experience for that kind of position and didn't have any contacts which would have provided him any kind of way of receiving this position. Warren decided to accept this position despite it meaning he would have to move states.

Once he got to the new state and the company to meet his new boss he met someone in the same position as him instead of the boss himself. Warren was given an apartment to live in with rent free however he would still have to pay for bills and such. Warren was to start three days after arriving. He decided that he needed to go furniture shopping and get things for the apartment that he was to live in. While at the furniture store he found a fairly nice living set that he liked but while he was looking at it there was a girl there.

The girl had long thick black hair that was put in a bun. She had pale skin. He couldn't see her face due to the fact that she was wearing thick sunglasses but he could tell she was beautiful. Warren was quietly watching her as she moved around the room. He couldn't help but be drawn to her despite not really knowing why but something felt off about her. Warren decided on a furniture set set a delivery date then left and headed to his hotel.

His first day of work he was brought into his new boss's office. He was nervous about having to meet him for the first time and from what he had heard the boss was quite difficult to deal with. Once he got in the room all he could see was a fairly large office chair facing towards the window. He assumed his new boss was trying to be a touch dramatic (which they definitely were) and he greeted the new boss saying "Nice to meet you. I look forward to working with you" when the boss turned around it left Warren in shock. It wasn't a man at all despite what he had been told. It was the lady from the furniture shop. She was sitting right in front of him with her hair still in a bun and wearing a different pair of sunglasses.
