The four adults race into the cave to find Henry ripping out his own heart.

"Henry, wait!" Neal yells immediately catching his attention. "Whatever Pan's telling you to do, don't do it."

"Dad? You're alive?" Henry questions.

"I am, buddy." Neal nods. "And I need you to listen to me, Pan is lying to you."

"Oh, pleasure to see you too, Baelfire." Pan remarks with sarcasm laced in his tone. "Not to mention the savior, your mother, and the Evil Queen."

"Henry, you need to get away from him now. He's trying to hurt you." Emma tells him.

"No, the heart of the truest believer. It's what is gonna save magic. It's gonna save all of you." Henry tries to explain to them.

"No, it's not." Regina shakes her head. "This was never about magic, Henry. You have to believe us. The only person Pan's interested in saving is himself."

"That's not true." Henry presses.

"Of course it isn't." Pan assures Henry turning to him.

"Yes, it is. Pan can't live without you dying. If you give him your heart, it's gonna kill you." Neal informs him.

"They're trying to stem your belief, Henry. But don't let them." Pan pauses. "Remember, every hero gets tested."

"Henry, look at me." Alexa says and she watches as her little nephew looks at her. "Not long after we met you told me that I was a hero. I didn't really believe it at the time, but now I know the truth. Henry, you taught me what a hero was. You have to know that this is not what a hero looks like."

"Why would they lie?" Henry inquires.

"Because that's what adults do, Henry. You know that better than anyone." Pan replies.

"Henry, you have to believe us." Regina pleads.

"Your family doesn't care about Neverland, Henry. They know if you give your heart to save it then you'll have to stay. They're being selfish because they don't want to lose you." Pan argues.

"Henry, please. You know us, we're your family. You have to trust us." Alexa begs.

"Trust?" Pan scoffs angrily. "I'm the only one who's ever been honest with you, Henry. The only one who ever believed in you. This is your choice, not theirs. You have to choose now, we're running out of time."
