Chapter 5

~Hayes POV~

When we left Cam's and got back home, I went right to my room and laid down. I fell asleep when I hit the pillow. When I woke up a few hours later, I had multiple text's from, to my surprise, Carter. I was happy he texted me. I read the texts and smiled at that

'Hey Hayes I'm kind of confused right now and I was wondering if I could maybe just talk to you for awhile?' a text read 'Maybe we could go to a movie or something what do ya say?' another read

"Sure Carter I would luv to help ya with what ever is bugging ya' I texted back

I got a text back almost instantly 'Okay sweet! I'll pick you up then?'

"Yea, see you in a minute Carter' I then locked my phone and went to the bathroom to fix my bedhead

A few minutes later I got a text saying he was here. I smiled and went downstairs "Bye I'm going to hangout with Carter!" I yelled running out the door and out to Carter's car "Hey." I said getting in the car

He smiled brightly "Hey Hayes." he said driving off "So how are you?" he asked

"I'm good and how are you?" I asked

"I'm good, just a little confused" he said

"Well whatever your confused about I'm here to help you" I smile

"Thanks Hayes, so what are we going to do?" he asked

"Well I would like to see a movie..." I say "But we don't have to if you don't want..." I say

"Well I'm okay with a movie if you are." Carter said

"Can we watch a movie at your house?" I asked

"Yeah sure" he says "You can stay over if you want." he said "Just tell your parents" he says

"Okay thanks Carter." I say pulling out my phone and texting my dad

"Sure no problem." he said pulling into his driveway

We got out of the car and walked inside

"You just go wait in the living room, I'll go get a movie to watch." Carter says walking upstairs

I walked to the living room and sat down on the couch

I got a text from my dad 'Okay have fun' it said.

I put my phone in my pocket and smiled as Carter walked back into the room with the movie and a couple blankets. He put the movie in the player and set the blankets on the couch

"I'll be back" He said walking into the kitchen.

I grabbed a blanket feeling the chill of cold air on my body. I covered my body and sighed . As Carter walked in the room with popcorn.

He started the movie and sat next to me. As the movie played we finished the popcorn and kept watching, Carter was making jokes through out the movie. I laughed a bit. I soon started drifting to sleep.
