Chapter 13: The randomness

ZACH
"Did you order bread sticks or something?" Corbyn says with a tilt of his head. "Uh, I don't think so...? I'll just go answer the door." Jack replies, getting up from his spot. He opens the door closes it again, seeing that no one is there. "Just some prank. No one was at the door." He groans. I sigh in relief and look back at the tv to see the credits rolling. He plops back down and lean close to my ear and whispers, "Do you want to talk about the phone call or later tonight when everyone else is asleep?" He whispers. "Later, I don't want them to think something is going on. Like, you know, couple-y stuff. Especially Jonah. He just LOVES to snoop." I say with a huff and glare at Jonah. My eyes travel to the stairs as I see a sleepy Ryan and Reese walking down them. I giggle at the sight. Man they are the cutest siblings in the world. Jacks cuter. Omg inner me just shut up for two minutes, please!  Nah, that's too long. I roll my eyes and walk over to Reese, picking her up and carrying her towards the couch. "What about me?" Ryan whined. I shake my head with a laugh. I walk over to him and pick him up as well and plop him on the couch next to Reese. I sit back in my spot which I realize is still next to Jack. Welp, now you're stuck. Ugh. "Can we watch Legally Blonde?" Reese asks. "First of all, how the heck do you know this movie? And second of all, HECK YEA GURL!" Jonah shouts. "Mommy lets me watch it with her sometimes. LETS DO IT JONAH!" She shouts back with a loud giggle. (Dirty thoughts? Again, I think tf not. You guys know what I mean now stop being dirty! 😂) I shake my head and laugh. "I swear you guys just need to get Starbucks or something." Christina sighs. "HECK YEA!" Reese and Jonah shout. "LETS GO LITTLE HERRON!" He says pointing at the door while she follows him. I laugh so hard that I'm lying down on Jacks lap while he tries to calm me down. He soon joins in and I stop to look at his beautiful face. He looks good when he smiles. He sure does. My cheeks flush a bright red but I cover it so he doesn't see it. "Is Mr.Herron blushing?" Christina says with a smirk. "No! My cheeks are always red." I snap back. "Yea but they are a bit darker, but i dont know." She widens her smirk. I shoot her a glare as she giggles. I put my hood on my head and cross my arms.

JACK
Was he blushing? Nah. Probably just Christina overreacting or something. I look down at Zach who huffed slightly and looked down at his phone. I chuckle at the sight of the small boy who was now leaning against my shoulder, still laying down. "Wanna go talk about it now?" I whisper. "I'm good." He huffed.

ZACH
Thanks to Christina, Jack probably thinks I was blushing. But you were. That's beside the point. Whatever you weirdo. Just tell him you like him. UM NO! I get interrupted when I get a message.

Unknown Number- Hey stranger! You haven't texted me yet! 😑😂
Zach💙- Oh, lol sorry. This is Micah right?
Micah🔥- The one and only!
Zach💙- Haha! Sorry Micah, we were watching mean girls and my family came to watch me perform and then my sister ran off with my friend to go get Starbucks.
Micah🔥- Hahaha! What even? I'm babysitting my brother and he's being soooooo annoying. He keeps asking me to go to the park. I'm now forced to take him because he texted my parents.
Zach💙- That sucks. My brother is just chatting away with my other friend and his girlfriend.
Micah🔥- How many friends do you got over?
Zach💙- We are all staying at this rental house together. There are about 5 other people here. Including my brother, sister, and mother, it's about 8 people, not including me.
Micah🔥- Geez, that's a lot.
Zach💙- I guess yea. Anyways I got to go. My sister came back and now we have to watch Legally Blonde
Micah🔥-😂😂 alright. See ya!
Zach💙- Bye!

I huff slightly to see Zach texting that Micah kid. Is someone jealous?😏 No. Maybe. I dont know. I just don't like that kid. I KNEW YOU LIKED HIM. Oh shut up. I don't. I just don't like the kid you know. Whatever dude. I roll my eyes and look back at the brown haired boy, who was glaring at his sister while she was laughing away with Jonah. I purposely put my elbow on his head and made him turn towards me. "May I help you?" He glares. "No. Just wanted to put my arm here." I grin. He rolls his eyes and turns back around. I chuckle at his dorky ness and wrap my arms around him. (In a friend way of course because, well, JACK IS BEING DUMB!) "You know I love you, right?" I ask. He nods. (Again, that sentence was in a friend way because, need I say it, JACK IS BEING SO DUMB AND WONT ADMIT HIS FEELINGS!) Christina finally turns on Legally Blonde and Zach snuggles a little closer too me. Jonah and Reese sat next to each other, obviously. And well, Daniel seems a bit jealous but Jonah just pushed it away since they are sleeping in the same bed together so they can just cuddle all night.

A/N: You guys are lucky today. I wrote over 900 words and I feel proud. Not including this. Lol. Anyways, should I make Micah a love interest or something? Or maybe he's interested in Zach but Zach is still into Jack? Comment what you think. Or just comment what you normally do because you guys give me life when you do. ❤️❤️ Love you!
