**BACK TO AMY'S POINT OF VIEW**

Damn! It's already 8:20! I totally forgot that I had to come over to Brandon's!

"Mom! Can you drive me to Brandon's house?" I looked down at the address that he texted me. Hm, it should only take 5 minutes by car.

"Hold on, honey! I'm discussing some business stuff with Mr. Thomason! I'll be there in 15 minutes!" she replied.

"Umh, Mom. Hate to break it to you, but I need to get going NOW," I yelled. Ugh, I don't have time for this!

I'm 16, turning 17 soon, but I still don't have my driver's license yet. I need to get one. SOON.

"Mom, I'm just gonna walk over there. He doesn't live far away at all. I'm helping Brandon with the assignment we had in 1st period today. K. Bye," I shouted across the room.

Before she could utter a word, I dashed out of the house.

Phew.

Almost there. Yes, finally in his neighborhood!

The flutters in my stomach were nonstop. My heart was racing so fast with an abundant of excitement! I can not wai-

What was that?

I could have sworn I heard some footsteps behind me. I turned around, but no one was there.

Heh, probably just my imagination. I hope. I've got to stop watching all those horror movies! I'm now imagining things

As I continued walking, I heard it again.

The footsteps.

No, it's definitely not just my imagination. It's fucking real.

Damn it! This is it! This is where the murderer usually comes out with a gun, or an ax, or some type of fatal weapon. And this is where the main character gets away safely in the movies...

Except this is reality.

I have to get away now. I have to run. Shit! Where? I was too occupied to realize that I was at a freaking dead end. Great. Nice going, Amy. Now, you're gonna die die a virgin.

I turned around slowly, expecting no one to be there... but there he was. The man was tall. Very tall. I'm talking about 6 foot 7 or so. He was wearing black mask to cover his face. I looked down to his hands.

He was holding a gun.
