Different but in love

It's summer. Hair gets lighter, skin gets darker, and the sun is shining. I got my new wardrobe for school this year, I got a pink top that says "love boys with accents" to go with the shirt I got short shorts and bought black converse! I also bought, a crop top that says "Cali life" (because I live in Calaforina,LA) In addition, I bought for that outfit was skinny jeans and com-back boots. Anyways, Today I was going to the beach with my best friend, Carla, I got my bikini and set it ontop of my Queen sized bed while I was listening to the song "Royals" by lorde.. I decided to wear my pink bikini and black bottoms!

I heard a buzz coming from my IPhone 5s!

Hey! :)) my mom is waiting out side for you!

I replied.

Okay, ! One sec.

I grabbed my bathing suit and started to change, when I got changed.. I grabbed my sunscreen, my sunglasses, beach towel, sandals, a small purse, snacks and water. I grabbed my stuff and closed my blue door which had a sign that said "Life is Beach!" I yelled out to my mom "Bye mom, I'm going with carla". I ran to the front door and saw Carla's moms car packed with tons of stuff. I smiled, "hey Mrs.Olivera! Thank you for taking me", she yelled "No promblem! Come in Vanessa" I hoped into the car next to Carla. "hey!" She said in Enthusiasm. "Hey!"

When Mrs.Olivera turned to the right.. The sign said "Beach Canaveral". I turned to Carla "Can't wait to go to the beach"! She whispered in my ear.. So her mom won't hear "I can't wait to meet the boys" she slightly smirked., I laughed and then she started laughing.

The car stopped. "Girls! Were here" Carla's mom said as she unbuckled her seat belt. I opened the door and started carrying the supplies toward the salty sandy beach. "We can go here" We started following Carla. We laid the stuff down and started setting everything up. "You can go girls, have fun.. I'm going to fix things up" she smiled and waved a friendly smile!

"Are you still dating Alex?" I said in confusion.. "No, he broke up with me because he saw another girl.. Such a jerk" she rolled her eyes and ,continued while walking down the beach "I've seen you acting all weird around Carter. Do you like him?" She started to giggle, "EW! he's such a prep and I don't like preps" I looked down. She scoffed "Yeah right.. Oh no" she started to say. "What?"

"There they are". We gulped... This is not going to be good.
