Yoongi's POV

"It's like she gets hurt every other day," Jin announced in disbelief as he stood over the stove, continuing whatever Seon had started.

The barely visible steam arose from the pan, drifting around before disappearing when Jin swooshed his hand over it.

"Really," Namjoon agreed, "I wonder what its going to be like once she lives on her own."

The idea of her leaving seemed way too early to be thought about. If Namjoon and Jin were already thinking about it, then Seon probably was too.

She didn't have to leave, though.

"Yah," Jin tsk'd, "that was something scary to see, though."

Of course, Namjoon nodded along and began to speak about whatever. I stopped listening after that.

It was a bit unusual for me to be so out of it, but I guess Jin wasn't entirely wrong either. The image of Seon being hurt and her crying hurt me more than it should.

"Where are you going?" Namjoon immediately asked as soon as I stood up and began to walk away.

"To check on Seon."

Thankfully, they left it at that and let me leave without bothering me in the process.

When I reached the threshold of the living room, I heard hushed whispers from Hoseok and Seon. Something told me to not interrupt.

And eavesdrop instead. Sorry, Mom. My morals aren't too good.

"Who is it?" Hoseok's voice was excited and in the verge of turning into a yell. Seon hushed him.

"Be quiet!" her voice was less audible. "I can't tell you who!"

He whined loudly and was shut up by, what I presume, to be a pillow to the face.

"I'll tell you some details though..."

"Go on!" Hoseok urged her to speak. Half of me was rooting for Hoseok to expose whatever she was talking about.

"Okay..." I moved my head to listen better. "The person I like probably doesn't like me back."

My heart dropped and nearly hell out of my ass. She liked somebody? Who? Namjoon?

A disappointed Hoseok sigh echoed off the walls, "Seon, you need to tell me more than that."

Yes! Hoseok was being smart enough. That's right, Hobi, pry everything from her.

"I mean," she sounded tired, "he's just being a decent person to me but I see it so much more than that."

Silence grew.

"And I just came to terms of liking him yesterday," Seon's voice wavered, "And I doubt he'd even see me that way."

"Well, that's fine anyways," she dismissed it. "I'm okay with the way things are now."

"Isn't it-" Hoseok was about it guess, but of course, my luck had always been shitty.

"Food's ready!" Jin yelled from the kitchen. I got up and dashed away before they could've caught me.
