Requested by PinguDubbleW ; What would they do if you became ill/sick? With Thorin, Legolas, Dwalin and Bilbo.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thorin; "My lord? I'm sorry to interrupt this meeting but it is my duty to inform you that your consort has got the sniffles."
The whole room falls silent. Thorin blinks a few times, allowing the news to sink in. "Balin?"
"Aye, my lord?"
"Get the kitchen to prepare two big servings of chicken soup for my beloved. Drag all the books from the library for me to read to them. Send someone to the shop for enough handkerchiefs to last us two weeks. Drag Oin from wherever he is and get him to examine my beloved."
He turned around to Dwalin. "Make sure that the security at our door is doubled."
Half an hour later.
"Love, you know that this is a bit unnecessary? I onl coughed once. I'm not dying" you said.
Thorin shook his head as he covered you in yet another blanket. "I can't risk losing you my love. Now, be quiet and let me feed you your soup."
Legolas; You were waiting in the doctor' room. The elf was busy with another patient and you were more than happy to wait. It was clear already what it was that ailed you so you were in no hurry.
Even if you were the consort of the prince of the Woodland Realm.
"I demand that you take a look at her right now! What if there is something more worse than what we expect? Are you going to be able to live with yourself if you're wrong?"
You heard the other elf sigh in the next room
"My apologies, my lord Legolas. If we had the right flower I could simply give her a potion and she would be back on her feet in no time. However, my apprentices have not yet returned, so-"
"So all you need is a flower? Which one and where can I find it?" Legolas interjected.
There didn't come a reply right away. "The flower grows only in the North in the highest tree of old, but-"
"Then that is where I'll go." Before the doctor could stop him, he came back into the waiting room and kneeled down in front of you. "My lady, I will go looking for the flower that will cure you. Wait for me in your room. Take enough rest and don't push yourself too hard in my absence."
"Legolas I-"
"I must be off if I want to get there before nightfall. I'll see you soon my love." And off he went.
Dwalin; You were laying in bed, covered by a thick blanket and a book in your hands. Sometimes being sick wasn't that bad.
*Knock, knock* The door is pushed open and Dwalin makes his way inside. In his hands he holds a tray with bread, butter, jam, a cup of hot tea, some honey and cheese. It looks small in his big hands unlike other things.
The jar of honey swayed back and forth as he tried to balance everything. Eventually he safely made it to you. "Hello love" he said with a sweet smile. He adjusted the apron around his waist so that he could sit next to you on the bed.
Carefully he brushed a strand of hair out of your face and tucked it behind your ear.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, his eyes showing concern.
You shrugged. "It feels like I just had a tough work-out. My whole body is just so tired."
Dwalin placed a wet kiss on the top of your head. "Then I will get you some medicine after you have finished lunch. Don't worry love, I'll take care of you. Together we'll fight that flu."
Bilbo; "Hello master Baggins! What can I help you with today?"
Bilbo kindly smiled at the shopkeeper. "You know (y/n)? They have fallen ill. Not seriously ill, I should mention" he quicly added after seeing the shopkeeper' face. "Just a flu, nothing serious yet. I need some herbs and special honey to help them feel well again."
The shopkeeper nodded hastily. "Yes, yes, you are quite right. There is nothing a little honey can't cure. Except, maybe, for serious illnesses or bruises, or broken arms..." He stared off into the distance.
Bilbo patiently waited for the other hobbit to continue his work. He rushed home after getting his ginger root. It was an old secret in his family to drink ginger tea when you had the flu.
Once at home he set to work immediately.
He had baked the cookies before leaving for the shops that morning. They had cooled down enough to get eaten. So he put them on a plate, put some flowers in the middle and filled a big cup with the ginger tea.
He found you where he left you. In the chair near the fireplace. "I've got something for you" he said, walking up to you. When he saw the smile forming on your lips, it warmed his heart. And when you sneezed it just made him want to cuddle you even more.
