Chapter One

It was the end of yet another school day at St. Jame's school, England. I skipped out of the school gates with my friends and waved bye as they went their seperate ways then turned left. I luckily only lived 10 minuets down the road but the heat slowed me down.

The heat took me by suprise as i was not used to hot weather in England. I walked behind a black car and kicked my shoes off then yanked at my tights and pulled them off my pale legs. I popped my flats back on and carried on walking. I shook my blazer off my body in the process of walking and held it in my hands.

As I was walking a refreshing cooling air hit my face, blowing my hair into my face. I then turned to shake my hair back into it's normal place and realised two men were stood across the road staring at me. I quickly turned my head to face foward again and began to quicken my pace. I don't know why i was walking faster, maybe it was the sight two men staring that creeped me out. 

I began thinking of the men, the one on the left looked quite young maybe in his early 20s while the other looked much older. I could only guess that he may be in his late 30s.

I was soon stood outside my house and unlocked the door and stepped in. I dropped my bag on the floor and hung my blazer up on the coat stand next to me. I lunged forward and shoved open the door that led to the living room. There i found my older brother Josh, 17, sat on his ass watching TV.

"Get up you lazy shit, you watch TV all day" I said to him, "Piss off" He growled at me in his posh English accent. "Fine then" I glanced at the large TV and saw he was watching Top Gear. Jesus why do all guys watch this show! I mean It's just about cars! 

I walked into the kitchen and saw my Mum drinking tea and preparing dinner. "Hey Mum, what you cooking?"

"I'm cooking beef stew, Is that good?" She smiled at me. Oh God, i hate beef stew. I hid my dissapointment and said "Yea that's great thank you" I smiled back at her and with that i walked back into the living room and opened the door to the hall.

"Hey Erin get me a beer out the fridge" He looked at me, "No Josh, get off your lazy arse and get one yourself." I growled at him. He smirked at me and to my suprise he actually sat up and went to the kitchen.

I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed and switched the TV on. I looked at my bedside table and saw A DVD, no case. I decided to watch it and staright away the menu to Bad Boys 2 flashed on the screen. I smiled to myself as this was one of my favourite films. 

I walked over to my widow to shut the curtains i looked out at the bright sky then looked down to see if anyone was passing. To my horror i saw the same two men I had seen earlier standing across the road talking. They must have seen movement as straight away they looked up to my window and both stared at me.

They must have been as shocked as me because they both suddenly turned and quickly walked down the road out of sight.

I shut my curtains and sat back down on my bed thinking of the events that just unfloded infront of me. It must have been a coincidence that they were there surley?

2 Hours Later.

The film had finished just as my mum called me for dinner. Great, time to face the beef stew! I unwillingly walked down the stairs and was greeted with the horrible smell of the meal I was about to consume. I sat down and my meal was placed infront of me. I smiled, hiding my actual thoughts.

I looked over at Josh and he looked at me. I knew he felt the same way and i smirked at him.

I finally lifted my fork and picked up what looked like a mixture of vegetables and placed them in my mouth. I straight away felt like gagging but i didn't as i didn't want to upset my Mum. The vegetables were soft and mushy in my mouth and i swallowed without chewing as i didn't want to taste it anymore. I smiled at my Mum and Dad, "This is really great Mum, thank you" I lied.

After what felt like hours of beef stew i grabbed a glass of water and sprinted upstairs to get away from the disgusting smell.

I changed into my nightclothes and layed in my bed. I closed my eyes and begand to fall asleep, thoughts of the two men filled my head, with that i fell asleep.
