There was an ice cold wind that whistled through the empty plains as I stepped onto the center circle of the stone platform. "What was that?" I asked. Gwen looked around. "Ah, shit." she muttered. "What? What is it?" I asked."Demons, I think." she said. "We're gonna have to make this fast. Where is that damn thing...?" she got on the ground and started checking various rocks. "Ah." she tapped a fairly large rock. and it came up our of the ground and became some type of controller. "What's that? I asked. "This will get you back home." Gwen said. "If it's that easy how come it's so hard for everyone else to get back to the mortal world?" I asked. "Well only a few of us 'chosen ones' know where this is and how to use it." Gwen said. She pressed a few colorful buttons. "O.K. This should work." Gwen said. "'Should?'" She was about to press a oval shaped red button when WHAM! something hit her in the back of the head. Hard. "AAUGH!" Gwen fell to the ground. "Hey! I yelled. The creature that hit her in the head turned around. It was almost 6 feet tall, total black body, hooves for feet, a red spiky tail, and had odd red marks on his face, and had golden eyes and claws, and a pierced ear. He growled at me. "Gwen!" I yelled. I tried to move my legs but couldn't. I looked down to see that my legs were being engulfed in a bright gold light. The demon slowly walked towards me. "Gwen!" I yelled again. Gwen coughed up some kind of black sludge. "Comin'." she managed to gag out."The demon stepped onto the stone platform, his hooves clicking. He grabbed me by the neck. I choked and gagged at his strong grip.
Suddenly there was a golden light surrounding the demon and myself. The last thing I saw was Gwen waving to me, before a slew of demons attacked her.
