After Lela sat around all day trying to keep busy, night time finally rolled around. She ran out to her car and started towards the poetry club to go meet Eli. Lela arrived around 10 o'clock pm. She took one last look in her dashboard mirror then got out walking towards the oak tree where she told Eli to meet her.

She walked and stood by the tree searching for him. About fourty-five minutes passed and she started to think that maybe he forgot about her. As she was just about to give up she felt someone come up behind her and grab her waist lightly holding her. There was a deep voice that said quietly, " Sorry I'm late. Please forgive me." Lela jumped some startled a bit then turned looking to find Eli. She blushed a deep dark red.

Lela turned around so she could see her charming new friend. "I started to think you forgot...",Lela said sorrowfully. Eli shook his head disagreeing then kissed her forehead. He led her by her hand to a dark place in the woods. There had been a tree that fell and they both sat on it. They talked for hours on end. Lela had never felt like this before.

As Lela was looking around the mysterious new place; Eli got up, took her hand, and pulled her to him. Lela was nervous for what his next move would be. He kissed her cheek then said in a low time,"I have some business to take care of love. Meet me here tomorrow night, I want to show you something." Lela nodded curiously but smiled into his eyes. Eli kissed her bright rosy cheeks one last time then left. Just like that. Lela sat there for most of the night just admiring everything surrounding her. This all made her feel so..normal.
