Fossegrim woke up and expected Paige to be sleeping beside him. But, she wasn't. He wasn't to bothered by it and so he got up and stretched. He thought maybe she was outside or somewhere in the forest. He checked all the way around the lake and into parts of the woods she liked to go to. He even checked the marsh. The reality came to him hard and frozen sticking out like a knife in the back of a human target that she never returned from her day out. His eyes turned watery as he sat down trying to keep calm and tried to keep focused enough to think of a plan. 'Where do I even start? Where do I even start!' The thought kept floating in his head over and over again until he grew exhausted from it and started rapidly shaking his head in hopes that it would fade. Now with a headache he got back up and into the cabin. He got his sharpened hair pin and wrapped it around his hair and stuck it in and then tugged on his white long sleeve and black jacket and left his burlap pants on which was all he basically needed for his mission. He doesn't really need to eat or drink so he was content with this. He slipped into his leather sandals and headed out towards Hässleholm to hopefully find evidence of who took her. 'Please protect her, please keep her alive All Father.' Tears went down his face as he headed down the road.
A honey blonde haired woman wearing a sleeveless olive green belly shirt with black skinny jeans and tan ankle boots was sitting with her legs crossed next to a cast iron table outside of her favorite café observing crime scene investigators and officers across the street. Apparently a husband and wife were shot by someone. She used her acute senses to listen to the still alive but injured wife tell how her husband found a young woman in the alley when he went to take out the trash and a few minutes later these two people knocked on the door and shot both of them. She then listened in on the witnesses and how they saw a woman jump out of a window from the third floor followed by a gunshot and scream soon after. The other officers were talking about what the other group found at what is assumed to be the mystery woman's car.
She decided to leave the table and head out behind the building to see what she could find that the cops left. When she got there she was relieved that she didn't have to sneak by or charm the people guarding the other scene. Hopefully they would stay in the house long enough so she could have a look around and maybe help them out like she had many times before without them knowing. She took off her black sunglasses revealing her glimmering yellow eyes and started walking slowly around in a grid pattern until she reached the sidewalk and spotted a clam shell necklace. She squatted down and picked it up gently and lifted it up to her nose and inhaled deeply. Her closed eyes shot open, Fossegrim. Her eyes widened and she realized the victim is his new lover; she wrapped it up in a napkin and and stored it in her hollow back. 'He must know she's gone by now and he'll probably be here soon but, I should go meet him halfway since I know where he still lives. Good thing we are still friends after I ended it.' Her tail came loose from her pants and twitched nervously showing her mood about how she'll find him when she runs into him. 'No time to waste.' She took off running down another alley that led into a field and eventually the forest.
