Chapter 1

As soon as I walked in I felt like everyone was staring at me. Your being paranoid  I told myseld. That I was sure of. I'm sure that everyone was going about their normal routine. But if you have ever transfered to a new school for the first time you know exactly what I'm talking about. I sat down in the corner of the bleachers away from everyone, or so I thought.

"Hi." A voice next to me said. I turned around to see a girl looking at me. She was pretty. She had wavy brown hair that fell down her shoulders. She was really tan and about average height for a 17 year old girl. She was skinny. She looked like she hadn't ate in weeks actually. "I'm Halley." she said when I didn't respond to her. I've never been good with people. I can never think of what to say, I'm always scared that I will completely embarras myself.

"Hello, I'm Kirra." I said in a quite voice. I could barely hear me. Can you please just leave me alone. I thought to myself, but it would probably be rude to say it out loud. Expecially when this girl was trying to be nice. But I didn't want people to be nice to me. I didn't even want to move here. I wanted to be completely avoided. I wish I was still in my old school in San Antonio, Texas. I knew everybody there. I had grown up with them. I wish I wouldn't have had to leave them, to come to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Just then two other girls sat by me interrupting my thoughts.

"Who's this." the tall one said looking frome me to Halley.

"This is Kirra." She said, " And, Kirra, this is Austin," She said pointing to the tall blond, "And Violet." She said pointing to the dark haired girl.

Austin was pretty- scratch that she was beautiful. She was everything a girl wanted to be. Tall, blond, heck she was a full blown barbie doll. And Violet was short, 5feet 2inches at the most, with dark hair. Her hair had purple highlights in it and she had dark green eyes. She was pretty. She was extremely pale though.

I smiled and waved at them both, I wasn't really sure what to say. I was hoping that no one would notice me. It was a big school after all.

"I don't think I've ever seen you around here before." Violet said. She seemed genuinely curious.

"I just moved here." I said keeping from making eye contact with anyone.

"Where from?" She asked.

"Texas." I anwsered.

"I use to live in Texas-"

I stopped Austin before she could say more. "Let me guess you lived in Austin, Texas. Didn't you?"

"Yeah!" She said.

"Well, I came from San Antonio, Texas." I said.

"Why did you move?" Halley asked finally joining in the convorsation.

"My dad got  job offer here, so he took it."

"Didn't he have a job where you lived?"

"Yeah, but it didn't pay much, and we've been struggling financially ever since-" I stopped there. I wasn't sure if I was ready to tell my sob story to a bunch of people I barely knew. You see my mom died of breast cancer a year ago and we had just got the hospital bills paid before we moved up here. We were readly to start over.

"Ever since what?" Austin said.

"I doesn't matter." I said trying to hold back the tears.

"Come on just tell me."Austin pleaded.

"I said it doesn't matter!" I snapped. None of them said anything else to me until the bell rang and people started to clear the gym and head for their home rooms. Thats when Violet came up beside me.

"What do you have first?" Violet asked as we walked down the hallway. Since my last name is Webb my locker is close to the end. And Violets last name is Brett we stopped at her locker.

"Ummmm, it looks like biology with Mr. Gibson." I anwsered.

"Me too." Violet said, "I can show you there."

"Thanks." I said. I am really gonna like her.

I guess Austin had something else for home room beacause Halley was there but she wasn't. I was kinda relived. I didn't feel comfortable with her for some reason. Biology was boaring. I hate biology. Then I had literature and history for second and third period. Which luckily I had with Violet. Fourth period was Algebra and I had that with Austin. Most kids hate math, but I like it. It's not that bad. I find it easy and sometimes it can even be fun. I know right now your probabky thinking: Oh my gosh this person must be crazy. But I like math. After fourth hour was lunch. As I suspected Austin was sort of really popular. She didn't sit with me, Halley, and Violet at lunch. We were talking until the whole lunch room became quite and three boys were drug out the doors by two teacher's and the principal.

"Who are they?" I asked as I watched the scene in front of me.

"The blond one is Derik," Halley said pointing to the boy being drug by one of the teachers, "The brown haired boy with the jacket is Carter, amd the brown haired boy with the tattoo on his arm is Aiden." She said the name like it was a curse.

"Stay away from Aiden." Violet said. "He is nothing but trouble, they all are, but he's the worst one of them all."

"Even though they are hot," Halley said, "They are bad news."

"They're too good for anyone here anyway, yet girls waste their time with them." Halley said. I wonder witch one dumped her. Although judging by the way she said his name, I would have to guess Aiden. He seemed to be the most popular guy at school from what I could tell. He had the typical bad boy aditude, and he had almost every girl in the lunch room drooling right now, with the exception on me and Halley. She was just looking at him like he was the devil him self, and I was simply not interested. I want a guy based on personality not looks and from what I've heard he could use a personality check.

"Oh." I said standing up. I left the luch room and walked down the hallway to my locker got my books for the next class and went straight there. Needless to say I was very early.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rest of the day was very uneventful. And so was the next, and the next, and the next. it wasn't until Friday that something interesting happened.
"Halley can I ask you something?" I said as walked into the gym that morning.
"Sure, whats up?" Halley asked smiling at me.
"Is Aiden Ryder the same Aiden you guys told me to stay away from?"
"Yeah, why?" Halley said.
"Ugh."
"Whats wrong with her." Violet said as her and Austin sat down.
"My dads boss is coming over for dinner tonight." I said.
"So, whats the big deal?" Violet asked.
"My dads boss is David Ryder, he has a son named Aiden Ryder that is my age."
"Oh." She said.
I nodded my head and turned towards the floor. "What are you going to do?" Austin asked speaking to me for the first time since she got here. I'm starting to get the impression that she doesn't like me very much.
"I don't know." I said.
"You can come to my house for dinner if you want." Violet said.
"I can't. I promised my dad that I would be there."
"Why should you be worried? You just have to have one dinner then you never have to talk to him again." Austin said.
"Your right. I have no reason to be worked up over this."
Just then the bell rang and we were all rushing to our classes. The day was very uneventful. All my classes were boring. Austin was right. There was nothing to worry about, but I couldn't help having this feeling that something bad was going to happen. But what could possibly go wrong?
I will try my best to update every week!
