Renae Marie Jones

I snuck back into my house and slowly shut the door locking it. Tip toeing up the stairs, one of the room doors opened. I stood still as if it was going to make me invisible.

"Dorian" I sighed in relief.

He cocked his head to the side making me roll my eyes.

"What are you doing up this late?" I asked my 15 year old brother.

He chuckled.

"Says da' one sneaking back into da' house." He smirked.

"I just came back from the kitchen" I bumped him walking past.

"Whatever Re, just don't make me have to beat yo' ass."

"Goodnight D." I smiled at him before closing my room door.

I threw my jacket onto my bed and went to walk in front of my room mirror to stare at myself. Dorian was only 2 years younger than me and acted two years older. I didn't mind though, we got along pretty straight. It was going on 3 o'clock in the morning and I was no where near sleepy, even though I had school in the morning. I got undressed just leaving my under clothes and got into bed to call my bestfriend.

--

"Re wake up dawg" I felt a soft cushion hitting me repeatedly.

I groaned snatching it from him.

"Get out Dorian!" I yelled throwing it back at him.

He laughed stepping back putting his hands up.

"Hey, you shouldn't a been out so late doing shit you ain't had no business doen."

I got out the bed and he jumped out closing the door. I opened it going to the bathroom to take a shower. I washed my hair, body and face and also brushed my teeth. 30 minutes later I stepped out wrapping my body in a towel and putting my hair in a bun.

"Baby, your up." My dad smiled at me.

"Yep." I chuckled. "Don't get too excited. Thank D." I mumbled dragging myself in my room to get dressed.

Deciding on wearing a white tank top with my light ripped jean jacket, my black semi-ripped pants and my white Cambridge Jordans, I got dressed. Letting my damp hair out its bun, it was going to be curly once it dried. I put on some hoop earrings an applied some lip-gloss and reached for my book-sack.

"Ready?" I asked D searching in the fridge.

"Bout time." He mumbled grabbing his bag.

"Bye dad!" I yelled leaving out the house not waiting for a respond.

--

"Rere!" My bestfriend May came running up to me.

"May." I giggled. "What's up."

"Guess what!" She looked around before pulling me to the side.

I rolled my eyes.

"So..." I trailed off waiting for her to tell me what had her so geeked up.

"There's this new girl and she so cute." She pouted.

"What about Alex?" I asked walking towards my locker.

"Girl, who is that?" She frowned making me laugh.

"Your a mess."

"No her hoe ass is a damn mess." She folded her arms. "Some random girl told me she seen her at Smoothie Palace with some whore."
