Look Them in the Eyes
Eyes are window to the soul. They may lie to you with their words. They may trick you with their actions. They may deceive you with their charm. But their eyes always tell the truth.
Eyes are windows to the soul. If you want to see what is in a person's depth, look at him in the eyes. See beyond the eyeballs, beyond the pupil. Dig inside and you will see all that is hidden beneath : the treasures and the filth, the valuables and the trash.
With their eyes, they cannot lie to you. You will know whether they are sincere. You can tell whether they are truthful. You will be able to discern whether they really love and care for you. So, next time when you are in doubt, do not just see their outward appearance, do not be lured by their gifts and kind words, just look them in the eyes.
Mata adalah jendela jiwa. Mereka mungkin berbohong kepada Anda dengan kata-kata mereka. Mereka mungkin menipu Anda dengan tindakan mereka. Mereka mungkin mengelabui Anda dengan pesona mereka. Tapi mata mereka selalu mengatakan yang sebenarnya.
Mata adalah jendela bagi jiwa. Jika Anda ingin melihat apa yang ada dalam kedalaman seseorang, lihatlah ia di matanya. Lihat lebih dalam dari hanya sekedar bola mata, sekedar manik matanya. Galilah jauh ke dalam dan Anda akan melihat semua yang tersembunyi di bawah : harta karun dan kotoran, barang berharga dan sampah.
Dengan mata mereka, mereka tidak dapat berbohong. Anda akan tahu apakah mereka tulus. Anda bisa tahu apakah mereka jujur. Anda akan dapat melihat apakah mereka benar-benar mencintai dan perhatian terhadap Anda. Jadi, lain kali bila Anda ragu, jangan hanya melihat penampilan luarnya, jangan terpikat oleh bakat dan kata-kata indah mereka, perhatikanlah mata mereka.
