The summer had been quiet for them and they had spent most of it together. Many a night had been enjoyed in front of a television in each other's arms. Kaley had truly enjoyed their time together over the summer and had been dreading the time when she had to move back to her grandparent's house in Michigan. Billy knew she was going to miss him and eventually they would have to split up, How was it even possible to keep a long distance relationship over the summer? They both remembered the time they had met, and it was under very unusual circumstances. Billy had met her at a party that his friend had brought him to. He could still remember exactly what John had told him.
"But dude"
" But what? You might as well come with, I mean, It's definitely better than sitting on your ass. I even found the perfect girl for ya."
Knowing John, Billy gave up and decided to go out on a limb and go to to this party. And then he met her. And he knew that there would be an end, and it would hurt, but it would be worth it.
Kaley, hated living in Michigan, everything was perfect here and she was going to have to leave it all behind. The thing she hated the most though, was that she would have to leave her boyfriend. She wasn't really sure about him when she first met him, with his unruly hair and lazy attitude about him, But after a while she knew she had met the perfect guy.
Now they would have to leave each other possibly for the final time. They were both seventeen and were most likely going to college next year, in their separate states. So both of them decided to take a walk back to Kaley's house. Their feet moved slow and sluggishly across the pavement, trying to hold on to their few last moments together possibly forever. As they reached the stop light near her house, Billy stopped but Kaley kept walking, He grabbed her hand, "let me give you a goodbye present." and right there he kissed her, and they held it as long as they could.
