Hi fellow book lovers,
I figured I would start you off with a note just to give you the down-low on this book, I love to write and one of my hobbies is parkour, so I figured I would just combine the two. I'm from down under but I have lived in the USA for about 3 years now and I'm loving it just as much as I hope you love this book. So, read on if you dare.
Much love Jem

"Class dismissed." My mind-numbing professor calls as he begins to pack up and leave his economic and advanced finance lecture. I sigh and grab my books grateful that my lecture is over and head over to the closest café to grab some coffee.
I walk in and people around me are smiling and laughing together with their seemingly happy lives. I order my coffee and as I wait I look around at the content college students around me, how are they so happy with their life?
I push my thick, knotted brown hair out of my face and sigh wishing my life wasn't so uninteresting, doing the same thing every day is so unnerving. Something inside my stomach yearns for excitement but unfortunately every day I must experience the displeasure of living the boring life of London Hanes.
Yep schedules, assignments, occasional outing with my friends and forcibly attending dinner with my obnoxious family. I love them but god they think they live better than everyone just because they have a little bit of money, okay a lot of money but they don't have to be dicks about it.
That's why I left as soon as I could, I pay my own way through life with my boring retail job that barely pays rent never mind student loans. I am so screwed!
"Londyn" the barista calls snapping me out of my thoughts, I gratefully take the coffee and take in its amazing aurora and smooth consistency. If it was socially appropriate to have a relationship with food, coffee and I would already be eloping in Vegas by now. Yes, I am in love and yes judgement is uncalled for.
I walk out with my hot cup of heaven and as soon as I step out my coffee is spilled out of my hand and onto the floor. I was about to irritably yell at the stranger for destroying such beauty when he was already gone, just like that as if it had never happened.
I search around the area for him and a spot him and a bunch of others start climbing a nearby construction area. Effortlessly pulling themselves up onto high ledges as if it were as easy as walking, I watch in astonishment as they fearlessly jump from different ledges climbing these scarily unstable platforms.
I gasp as the handsome idiot who spilt my coffee as he jumps of a ledge and soars through the sky only to land on another, it was as if it were out of a movie.
"Hey, idiot you spilt my coffee!" I yell up to him trying to get his attention, he slows down to look at me. He holds back a laugh as a he pulls his full lips into a smile and winks at me with his gorgeous eyes. Why did god give such looks to such a monster?
I glare at him and turn to pick up my coffee and throw it in the trash. I turn back around to give him a piece of my mind but just like that he is gone.
I shrug it off and continue with my day, but as the day progresses the burning desire to do be able to climb railings as they do builds and builds. Finally, I decide I want to know more about these people, I want to know these people, I want to be one of them. Whoever they were.
Hope you love this book, see you next chapter !!!
