A week had passed by since the opening ceremony, and I still haven't gotten used to my new school. It is way too big,so I often get lost in the hallways. I seriously think that it resembles a maze, a never ending maze. Well, today just happened to be one of those times that I got lost. I was heading for nii-san's class, so that we could have lunch together. However, I got confused to which direction his classroom is. I tried to look at the signs of each room, but it all started to look similar after a while. This is bad. Lunch is about to be over and I can't even find the stairways anymore. I can't ask people for directions either, since most of them are in the cafeteria. Plus, I haven't encountered a single person since I came up to the second floor. What am I going to do? Think, Hinata, think. I was still thinking when I bumped into someone. I felt a hot liquid on my blouse as I started to fall.

"Itai!" was the word I uttered as gravity pulled me to the ground.

"Ah, gomen'nasai! Eto, daijoubu?" I heard a boy talk beside me as I tried to process what occurred. I looked at my shirt and found pieces of ramen. It seems that as I was thinking, a boy bumped into me when he turned the corner. So, it was the ramen that burned me for a second. Oh, my rear hurts from the fall too...

"Eto, daijoubu?" the voice hesitantly spoke again after a moment of silence. That made me realize that I had not replied to his question, yet.

"Ah, eto, I-I'm alright. I, eto, was at f-fault. I wasn't p-paying attencion. Gomen'nasai." I slowly finished my sentence. This entire time my eyes are glued on the floor, so I don't even know who I bumped into. I started to look up, and I could feel heat quickly rise up to my entire face. My eyes met beautiful blue ones and a very familiar countenance. Its him! Why of all people?! I focused on the ground once again.

"Eto, your face is red. It must have been from the ramen! I'll get you something to change in to. Stay there, I'll be right back." He stood up from beside me and ran to a room near the end of the hallway. I'm still on the floor, trying to understand my current situation, when he returned just as fast as he left. He stands in front of me with his left hand stretched out and a sports jacket on the other. His waited for me to do something but all I did was stare. Why does he have that?

Suddenly, he crouched down and reached for my right hand. I was paralyzed. He slowly, yet gently, pulled me up. His blue eyes is filled with concern and remorse.

"Here, you can borrow this so you can change out of that." He pointed to my blouse as he handed me his  p.e. sports jacket.

"Eh? N-no, i-it's fine." I managed to say as my cheeks blushed.

He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled. "Well, I don't think you can walk around with ramen on your uniform. It's big but that's the only thing I can lend for you to wear. Wait. You probably have one. What am I  thinking?" Unexpectedly, I reached for his jacket. What?! What am I doing?! I was too late to stop my actions.

"Arigato." I said without stuttering and with, what felt like, a small smile.

"Ah, no problem." He slowly showed me a toothy smile. Then, before we knew it, the bell rings. "Oh, crap. I should go. I don't want to be late," he quietly muttered to himself. He already turned his back when I grabbed his sleeve, so that made him stop. He slowly turned around and stared with confusion in his wide blue eyes.

Hinata, what is going on with you? Your being a burden to a stranger! Stop. Don't say anything and pretend you didn't do it. Against what my mind was saying I said, "eto, w-where i-is the st-stairs? Eto, I-I'm lost." I heard a loud laugh coming from him, which made me turn tomato red. See what you did? Baka! I mentally face palmed myself.

"Gomen'nasai. It's just funny because I got lost several times last week too. I'm not laughing at you at all, dattebayo." He said in between breaths as he tries to stop his laughter. "Well, I'll just show it to you. Follow me." After what felt like eternity, we arrived to our destination. "Here we are." I got startled by his obvious announcement.

"Domo arigato gozaimashita." I said that without stuttering?!

"Ah, your welcome, I guess," he looked at this watch and started to run. "I'm going to be late so I leave you to it. Ja ne, Ramen-chan."

I couldn't help but flinch at what he just said. Will we see each other around? Oh Hinata! You forgot to ask for his name! You could have at least learn that after all the trouble he went through for you. I argued with myself as I watch his form slowly disappear from my line of sight. This scene seems rather familiar, and I didn't notice that his jacket was in a tight embrace. I examined it and found his surname stitched onto it. "Uzumaki," I whispered his name to myself. So, your called Uzumaki-san. I stared to the place he went. Why is it that my heart is beating this fast? What is wrong with me? I hope to see you again, Uzumaki-san. I made my way to the bathroom to change and go to class afterwards. I looked at my sickly reflection just to realize that it is too big and I squeeze my chest to try and slow down my heart's beating. Is this feeling caused by my condition or because of him? Is it always going to be like this whenever I see him? I really hope this feeling goes away. (sigh) I need to get a grip. I'll be okay. Faito! Faito, Hinata.
