A little girl about the age of 6 years old opens the door to a study, and sees her father in his chair making plans on forty or seventy eight different maps and several papers littered on top of her father's desk. She comes in and goes towards her father and looks up at him, the father looks down from his book and at his daughter. He smiles and sets his book down and picks his daughter up. "Sandy? What are you doing in here?" says Sandy's father. "Dad, how did you and mommy meet?" Sandy looks at her father with a smile while her father chuckles softly. "Alright, I'll tell you the story." He gets comfortable in his seat and holds his daughter on his lap, and then he closes his eyes.
(The father is telling the story and will go between the past and the father telling the story.)
A long long long time ago, back when Pirates sailed the seven seas. Robbing ships and searching for adventure, there is one forgotten ship that was feared and respected in the ancient world. "The Forgotten Depths" And the feared and respected captain of the ship went by the name Isaac Stone. "That's you dad." Sandy smiles and giggles, while her father nods and continues his story.
The Captain was holding onto a rope, dangling himself off the starboard side facing the sea his eyes closed and his black coat open and flowing in the wind. "Captain Stone! Siren's Bay Approaches!" says a crew member high up in the Crow's Nest. Isaac smiles as he pulls himself back onto the deck and off the rail of the ship. "Alright men, We all know the plan." He walks towards the figure head, his crew gathering behind him, his sword dangles on the left side of his hip. " We need to get at least one, just one Siren in one of our nets." His crew roars with excitement as they near their location. Siren's Bay or Siren's Cove is a dark place to visit, it's cloudy and looks as if the sun rarely shines, the rock formations are sharp and jagged poking out in weird areas, except for one. A large and deep trench where the Sirens are said to swim and hunt. "Nets at the Ready!" The crew mates grab seven black nets and bring them to the side of the ship. "Wax plugs in your ears NOW!!!!!" The crew mates put wax plugs in their ears to block out any siren's song. Isaac unsheathes his sword and raises it high, closer to the location. They arrive to the trench and Isaac brings his sword down into the wooden deck sending an unusual jolt through the entire ship and down into the blackened depths. The Sirens show themselves from the deep and sing their deadly songs while the crew mates throw their nets over board, and into the water, some nets snaring Sirens left and right, however some sirens band together and free their captive friends and or sisters. While on the Ship Isaac speaks to himself. "May I snare just one, fill my net and bring her aboard my ship!" he casts his net into the water and snares one Siren, her sisters and friends make their escape. Isaac hauls the captive Siren aboard the ship, he removes the net from the Siren that glares at him. "Welcome aboard The Forgotten Depths." says Isaac he then glares at his crew for staring at the Siren. Isaac takes his coat off and drapes it over the Siren. "My name is Isaac Stone, and you are?" He says as he offers his hand to the Siren. "Daisy." she says as she takes Isaac's outstretched hand and her fish tail turns into legs and she stands up a little wobbly as she then pulls the long jacket around her body. "It's great to meet you Daisy, please come into my quarters so we can talk things through." Isaac then looks to his crew mates. "AND IF ANYONE SO MUCH AS TOUCHES HER WRONGLY OR HARMS HER YOU WILL MEET THE BUSINESS END OF MY BLADE!" Says Isaac as he then leads Daisy into the Captain's quarters. He opens the door and brings her inside. The inside of the room is large and rather dark on the inside, the walls are lined with books and doors that fold to protect the books, to the far end is a window and a desk and a single cage cloaked in a black cloth with three chairs, one behind the desk and two in front. To the far corner of the room looks to be a hammock.
Isaac leads Daisy to one chair as he then sits in the one behind the desk. "Daisy, do you know why you are on this ship?" He asks her calmly. "I have a few ideas as to why." she responded. "And what would those ideas be?" He asks her. "One, you and your crew are going to sell me as a slave. Two, you and your crew re going to sell my hair and scales. and Three, you and your crew are going to sell my breast milk?" She says with confidence in her answers. Isaac closes his eyes and chuckles. "Those would pay a lot, but no. You are here because it is believed that when a Siren has joined the crew, the ship and it's crew become super lucky. Nothing more and nothing less as to why you are here." He says to Daisy. "O-Oh. Umm okay? I was not expecting that." she says. "Lets begin, You will stay on this ship for fourteen months, and when our deal is up I will release you back to the sea to be with your family. Does that sound alright to you?" Says Isaac as he looks into Daisy's eyes. She nods her head slowly. "Excellent." he smiles. "We are heading into a small Port town, we will get you some clothes and we shall re stock on food." says Isaac.
Sandy giggles. "What happened next dad?" asks Sandy. Isaac chuckles. "Your mother tried to run away from me and the crew and the ship." he says and laughs.
It was seven days later before they reached the port town, right as they docked Isaac left his quarters leaving Daisy alone. When he returned he found that Daisy was gone and one of the windows was open. "Of course." He goes to the bird cage and removes black curtain on top of it showing a crow. He opens the cage and offers his arm, the crow flies onto his arm and looks to him. "Find her and Caw when you have found her." he says to the Crow as he walks to the window letting the crow take flight. Isaac leaves his quarters and goes onto the top deck, only to go to the side and take the rope way down to the ground, his eyes in the sky.
Daisy runes through the streets past people, that is until she comes across a fountain. She gets in and transforms into her Siren form, not caring if anyone starts to stare at her. While high above her the Crow flies in circles and releases it's caw, deep from within the gathering crowd Isaac appears. "Alright break it all up, nothing here to see. Touch her and I will destroy you." he says to the crowd which starts to back up allowing Isaac to get to the fountain. "Well hello again Daisy. Funny seeing you here, need help?" asks Isaac. "Yes actually." says Daisy as she wraps herself in the damp coat. Isaac chuckles and picks her up and carries her back to the ship.
