first day of college after summer break. this summer had been a good summer with all travelling and meeting people but one thing was constantly on my mind.my crush.Ashton.the thought of him always crossed my mind.always.

so,today I might see him ,I might not .He is in his final year and won't come to college much.but,I just hope I see him .I have been longing to see him.

I woke up early as I dont like to be late for the first day and packed my bag with all the works .I am quite a good student who does everything on time.i like to be like that. i put on some make up on and walked out .

' AMARA ' I heard my name being called out,I turned around and see naomi walking towards me.we both wait for the college bus to arrive and talk about homeworks .bus arrives and we get in.i go and sit in my usual place 3rd seat from last.i kind of like it and I prefer to sit alone .I put ear plugs in and start listening to the songs.and my thoughts wander and iam thinking of him,what he would wear today? ,what if we match our colours?,what if he says hi to me?.what if.....the bus horn honks and am back in to reality.we all take to a moment to set our selves and leave the bus .

as I enter the campus I see felicity,margo and selena waiting for me .I shoutout a Hi and they all turn around and mirror my gestures. It's been a while I didn't meet them and seeing them today made me happy . we have a group hug and leave for our respective classes selena and I have almost same classes . so we both walk to our lecture hall and sit and wait for the teacher . and as I said earlier iam a good student and so teacher like me. Mr . Rafael asks for the assignment as soon as he enters the class and iam the first to hand him my assignment .after going through the assignment he starts the lecture and 5 minutes in to lectures I heard a voice .a familiar tone laughing in the hallway.and I know its him.that innocent deep laugh.and it took away my concentration away.i just wish for the class to end so that I can catch a glimpse of him . bell rings and am out of the class as a thunder.

I search the corridor only to disappointed by his absence.its lunch time now me and friend sit in the cafeteria to have our food time passes by as we eat and talk about the day .the clock ticks 1:00 and we are on our way to respective classes .I started walking towards the class and he appeared in front of me .he wearing a black jeans, black t shirt and a plaid shirt over it unbuttoned.

"hi" he said

"hello" I replied

I was instantly all brightened up by his voice only his voice can do that.sigh.

'what are you doing?' he asked walking along with me .I can't contain the feeling that he is beside me .but I try to hide my blush so it doesn't seem awkard.

'I have a class to catch up' I said , he smiled and shouted 'see you after the class ' and winked .

class ended and I packed my bag to get back home, I see him waiting for me.my heart skiped a beat when I realised he is waiting for me. I give him a smule as he walks towards me . silence dint leave till we walked towards the busses . 'want to come and have some coffe with me?' he asks ,as I searvh for my bus. I am overwhelmed by his thoughts.we met met each other after a month and the next thing he asks me out for a coffee .can this day get any better . 'amara' he says interrupting my toughts .his voice calling out my name give it a different feel its sounds exotic .

'okay? 'he asked

'yeah okay. ' I said

we walked to a nearby coffe shop .it felt awkward and yet amazing sitting with him.not that I dont want ti but I dont want to give away tge idea of me liking him. he looks at me with an expression that I can't solve .waiter came and took our order. I gulped my cold coffee in minutes .we talked very little during our 'little date'.should I call it a date? or it was just hanging out? .I dint know but the idea of date seens my priority now .so ill go with date . my thoughts are interrupted by ashton

"did you like it'

'coffee? yeah'

'no!not coffee. us hanging out together'

as the words left his mouth.i had a overwhelming joyous panick attack .like did he read my mind or what?.my face couldn't hide its emition and just expressed it as a shock.

'why are you so shocked ?' did I say something wrong?" he asked

'no.no its not that. ..its just...ummm... 'I said

would you come out with me tomorrow ? a date .we will watch a movie and have lunch. what say? he asked

I cannot contain my happiness right now . and I instantly muttered 'yeah .yeah .sure ' and his dmile returned to his lips .he walked ne till my home .

I never expected this to happen on very first day of school but I was hoping /wishjng to see him .well, that wish worked very perfectky ..and I just dint get to see him but I had a coffee with him and he asked me out for a date .A FREEKING DATE.!
