Part 5: Came By All Places

Ashton's POV

"Where the hell is Luke? He should be here now. " I said.

"Hey, Ash. He'll come soon." Michael pats my shoulder as the door is open with a grinning Luke and a shy Calum with guitar case and a bass. And suitcase.

"Luke! Where have you been?" Michael asked.

"Okay, so, I asked Calum if he wanted to stay in here. And he said yes!" Luke said.

"Hey Calum! Come on in, buddy." I said. He stood still.

"Calum, don't worry, we won't bite." Michael said. Calum hesitated. But nodded and brought all of his things. I got up from the couch and went to help him.

"Eh, you don't need to help me. " He said.

"Nope, still doing it anyway. " I said, as I walk upstairs. He followed me. I opened one ex- guest room. And put his things in the room.

"Okay Cal, this is yo- "

"ASHTON! COME DOWN, WE NEED TO TALK!!!" Michael and Luke yelled.

"This is now officially your room Now and go to sleep. Goodnight cutie. " I winked. I can see his face burned red. And I closed the door And walk down.

"So, what's up? " I asked.

"So, I think we should make Calum join our band." Luke said.

"WHAT?!' Me and Mike asked.

"Are you kidding me, Luke?" Michael asked.

"Nope. I've seen him perform and he's amazing." Luke said.

'Luke, he's a book kind of guy." Michael whispered.

"Even though he wears glasses, doesn't mean he actually a book kind of guy." Luke said.

"Not just that. He's shy, quiet person. And, I don't know, I can explain too much." I said. Then, suddenly, we can hear little humming of songs I don't know.

"I came by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted." Is all I could hear and I couldn't quite tell the next hums cause I fell for the voice.

"See?" Luke asked.

"How about we check on- "

"SHIT!!!" Calum said from upstairs and we all went to check on him. He's on the bed with his notebook. And guitar on the side of the bed.

"What?" He asked as if nothing happened.

"Is there.... Anything wrong here, Cal?" I asked.

"No." He said blankly.

"Okay..... Goodnight." I said and closed the door. All I wanted to do now is to see and hear him sing by my own eyes.
