*Ryan*
"I'm scared." I said.
"You're scared? You're never afraid of anything." Ricky said.
"I know, which is why I'm freaking out so much." I said, pacing back and forth.
"It was an accident." Ricky said, watching me from his spot on the couch.
"You know that but Angelo's going to be furious." I said.
"Ryan, calm down." Ricky said.
"Don't tell me to calm down, Ricky!" I said.
Ricky looked away and I sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell."
The sound of keys entering a lock caught the attention of both of us and we looked to the front door. It opened slowly and Angelo walked in, closing the door behind him before dropping his keys on the little table next to the door. He turned and looked at us.
"What's going on?" he asked, taking his jacket off and hanging it on the hook located directly opposite of the table.
Ricky looked at me and I looked at the ground.
"Guys? What's wrong? Did someone die?" Angelo asked.
"Not exactly the way I would put it." Ricky said.
"Then...what's going on?" Angelo asked once more.
"Ryan. Tell him." Ricky said.
"I um...I..." I stammered.
"What?" Angelo asked.
I turned and picked up the drawing that Angelo had been working on for the past three months. I accidently had spilled my coffee on it and when I tried to clean it off, the paper ended up tearing.
I knew Angelo would be pissed.
And he was, of course.
"What the fuck did you do?!"
"It was an accident!" I said.
"Bullshit! Nothing you do is an accident! You do shit out of malice and jealousy!" Angelo yelled at me.
I looked down, afraid.
"It really was, Ange. I saw it. He didn't mean too." Ricky said, trying to stick up for me.
"Fuck you Ricky! Ryan, I swear to God if you do not get out of my house in the next five seconds." Angelo said.
I didn't stick around to wait and see what the rest of Angelo's threat was going to include. I bolted and ran all the way home, not stopping until I was safely inside my house.
--
Two days later and I hadn't spoken to Angelo or any of the guys for that matter. Ricky and Balz had been calling me, saying I was missing practices and meetings but I couldn't return their calls. I didn't want to be around Angelo, especially knowing he could snap my neck in a second, if he so wishes.
I rolled over when I heard the doorbell go off. I didn't want company.
"This better be good." I muttered.
I walked downstairs and opened the door, shocked and a little afraid, to see Angelo there.
"Hey." he said.
"H...hi.." I said.
"Can I come in?" he asked.
"Um..sure.." I said.
I moved back and Angelo walked inside. I checked to make sure he didn't have any weapons on him, at least none that I could see.
I closed the door and looked at him. "So..why are you here?"
