Chapter 12

Betilla's POV

We continued in the direction Holly said the monsters went, watching out for whoever this Clio was.

After a while, Rayman nudged me.

"What?" i ask quietly. He points at another fairy with a loose teal ponytail, tan complexion, and blue outfit.

"Clio" he mouthed. I nodded and we tiptoed past her. Well, tried to. She somehow noticed us and looked around.

"Oh hai there!!" she said excitedly. She zipped over. "I'm Clio, its a pleasure to meet you!!!"

"Um, hi-"

"Omg, you're like sooooooooooooooo cute!!" she gushed at Rayman. He seemed kind of uncomfortable. He gave me a look that said help me please.

For some reason, this girl bothered me. Not just because she was way too happy. All i could think of was:

FLIRT ALERT!! CODE 99999999!!! SYSTEM OVERLOAD, SHUTTING DOWN...

Or something like that.

I put my hand on Clio's shoulder in a not-so-friendly way.

"Back off, girlfriend." i muttered. "Well, um, we kinda need to go. Like now.."

"Aw, but we just met!" she complained in a still overly-happy manner. "Ooh, I know!! I'll come with!"

It was at that moment that i seriously wanted to strangle that girl.

"Yes, that's great!" i said. I leaned over to whisper to Rayman. "We're dead."
