Ashley Berry was a normal girl, well-behaved focused on school, kind caring and shy. She had just finished her last semester of school; she was going to school to become a psychologist. Her family was a wealthy family, her father owned the bank in town, the only bank in the small town of Green Hill. It was a beautiful town, with small homes in town and larger country homes in the distance. The trees were blowing in the soft breeze; the smell of fresh-baked bread filled the town center with a delightful smell.

Ashley walked through the town square, with her partner, laughing at his stupid jokes. They were walking back to his family farm. She had known the way for years since her and Dylan had grown up best friends; they had always fancied each other, but had never spoke about it till three summers ago where they both confessed their feelings for each other. Dylan loved Ashley's personality, because of how loving she was to everyone even if they had wronged her. He loved the way she smiled how confident she was when others tried to drag her down; she was easy to talk to trustworthy with secrets, independent and confident. Ashley loved Dylan because of how faithful he was to the ones he loved, how he was good with his little brothers and sister, his silly sense of humor, how passionate, generous and, confident he was. She also loved his eyes because they were a chocolate-brown that had a really warm feeling, she knew that she could tell if something is wrong.

They walked slowly along the trail leading to a really large old oak that was on the top of a large hill that they used to sleigh down as children. She smiled softly, sitting down beside him leaning against him, this was the first time they have had in months to themselves since she was now on summer vacation, done school.

"So what do you want to do to celebrate you finishing school." He asked, softly happy for her accomplishment.

"I'm not sure." She said playing with her hair, "Go out on a date?"

He nodded smiling, "That would be great it has been months since the last time we went on one."

They sat and watched the sun slowly set, and Dylan knew it was time to pop the question he had wanted to ask her for the last year. He knew his little sister, Emily, was spying on them, he had told her because she wanted to see, she was 7 years old, and adored Ashley. She had wanted her to be her big sister.

He wasn't going to do it the traditional way even though he was old-fashioned. He had asked her father earlier today for his blessing, which he received. He gently got her to stand up and he held her looking into her eyes and he told her how much he loved her and wanted her to be his forever. She said yes, allowing Dylan to put a necklace with a ring on it around her neck. He had known she didn't like to wear jewelry, the only thing she would wear is a simple necklace, occasionally. As soon as Dylan had that necklace fastened around his future wife's neck they were tackled by an excited 7 year old.
