Chapter Thirteen

Mace's Pov

I hugged Lillie, knowing she probably hated me. I looked happy to fool 'Serenity'.

I knew the real Serenity didn't believe this, she would recognize me. But I laced the note I left her with a spell, pushing the real her in the very back corrner of her mind. I didn't know completely what I had done to her, but I knew that this wasn't my real sister.

"Boyfriend? But... Levi..." Serenity tlted her head in confusion.

"Freeze!" I said, putting Lillie down, glaring at her. Serenity froze.

"Levi! I now everything, how did I not considder Levi!" I said. I put my face in my hands, sighing. "Okay Lillian, will Levi bean issue? Will he know that we're not dating?" I asked.

"No..." she squeaked.

"That's my girl." I said.

"How are you doing that? The freezing unfreezing thing on Sen?"

"I left her a note laced with a spell, the real Serenity has been pushed out of the way and someone else is her now. I don't know exactally how itworks, only how to use it. Thus, I know that's not my real sister." I told her. "I also hyptonized her so I can freeze and unfreeze her. Quite fun"

"So, what do you want with us? I know why you want Serenity, but what do you want with Caden, Levi, and me?"

"Oh that's simple. I know I can't take my sister without at least one of you rebelling, so I turn all of you againnst each other, Mace comes to take Serenity, all happy. Though I know that won't happen due to Caden's vision. Sigh, I was hoping I wouldn't have to raise the dead."

"Raise the dead?"

"Necromancy sweetheart." I said, walking over to my sister.  I put my hand on her cheek and sighed. I leaned to her ear and whispered a spell.

"What are you doing to her now?" Lillian asked.

"I can't stand that she isn't Serenity. I'm giving her her mind back. I'm also making sure she won't recognize me though." I said. I walked back over to Lillian, and grabbed her hand. "Unfreeze."

"Well.. Do you wanna camp with us? I'm sure they wouldn't mind. You can have my tent, I'm sleeping in Caden's anyways." Serenity said, picking up where she left off. The odd glint had left her eyes. I smirked. My sisters sleeping with a boy.

"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude..." I said already knowing what she would say.

"Don't be silly! Any friend of Lillie's is a friend of ours. Come on!" she said, skiping off. Lillian stayed sient, but smiled. After a while we got to the site.

"Who the hell it that?" Caden asked, pointing at me. Lillian and I looked at each other, nervously.

"Kobie. He's from my hometown We're..." Lillian stopped. I squeazed her hand, "Dating. He's my boyfriend"

Levi's eyes narrowed in jealously. Perfect.

"Lillie. Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, hurt in his voice.

"I did. You must have forgotten." Lillian said, squeazing my hand. I looked at her in confusion, then realized it was hatrid. Her nails sunk into my skin. I leaned down.

"Stop it Ana!" I whispered, and her hand losened off mine. I looked around, and saw Serenity setting up my tent and talking to Caden. I whispered a spell so I could hear them.

"...And what have the trees been saying?"

"Horrid things. They're terrifyed, Love. They know something bad is coming. They keep trying to tell me he's close. I can't shake this feeling..."

"Serenity, I promise I won't let him get you."

I chuckled and ended the spell. The little depressed boy could do a lot, but he couldn't stop the vission.

I'm getting my sister. That's final.
