A Tale of Fire and Sorrow

Prologue

A long time ago in a world similar to our own, there lived a peaceful society of humans. They lived in a care free land under the rule of the 7 divine gods. There were the King and Queen, and there 5 young children. The thing that made there society much different than ours was the fact that there was magic. Everywhere you looked you could see people using magic in ways that made there lives better and more luxurious than ours here on earth, but this is all just background information to the story, background information to the story this is all about, a story of magic and love, one of lose and sacrifice, and most importantly, of fire and sorrow.

To tell the tale I must tell another before hand, so as you are not contently lost in this magic infested land.

As you know, there once lived a kingdom of magic and gods, the gods peacefully ruled over the human's of the land. Everyone was happy, but the human's lived a very bland life, there was absolutely no excitement, no adventure, what so ever because everyone was happy. To fix this problem Queen Livy turned to her children for help.

So Queen Livy gave each of her children an orb of life. Each child was tasked with creating there own species to roam the earth with the human's, hopefullly in the process creating something exciting, something new, for the people of our world. The eldest, Anastasia, the goddess of love, created the species known as the Meif'wa, other wise known as the neko's. The Meif'wa were creature's of love and prosperity, helping anyone in need no matter the task.

The second oldest, Windigo, goddess of wind, created the windwalkers, a humanoid creature that controls the wind around then for there and other peoples benefits, they are extremely loyal to there friends, family and lover. There also known to be extremely calm in almost any situation.

The middle child, Aqua, god of water, created the water nymph's, creatures of the purest heart, clear of mind and heart, though they were very pure creatures they were also very mischievous, playing tricks on sailors and anyone unfortunate enough to cross there path.

The second youngest child, Fern, god of earth, split his orb in half so he could create the fairy's and the elf's, caring creator's that only want the best for others, tho they can be evil if its needed.

Finally the youngest of the children, Amber, goddess of fire, created the werewolf's, creature of passion and extreme loyalty, tho they can be hotheaded, they are very territorial over there homes and loved ones.

Once everyone had created there species to rule over and care for Queen Livy cast the spell that would turn the orb's into the species her children had created.

A warm light was cast over the entire kingdom, leaving, in it's wake, the new species of the planet, ushering in a new age of light and prosperity, but thing's like this never last.

While everyone flourished in the new light, Amber noticed something. Every creature created was one born of pure light, driven to always do good, no later the cost. There was no evil in this world, and the universe would soon notice the flaw, the one paradise among everything else.

In a hopes to save the rest of the species of the planet from corruption, Amber went to her mother for another orb of life. Her mother, understanding the cost of having corrupt species on the planet, so she gave the young god another orb.

With the orb, Amber then created a species of pure, unadulterated, evil. She also made her biggest mistake. They were simply called demon's.

With the planet now hopefully in balance, Amber created an underground world for the demons so occupy. She and her family then went back to the over world to take care of the rest of the species of the planet, leaving the demon's to there own devices.

Years of prosperity followed, everyone was happy, except the demons. For years they had been planing an uprising against the very people that had brought them into this world. They were lead by a fearsome leader simply known as Katanna. Her and her generals lead the charge to the surface and started a war that would end in the biggest battle ever to rage on the planet.

For years the war raged on the planet, every species was at risk, the were million's of casualties, and the demon's were winning.

The gods had stepped in a few years back, helping everyone they could, amounting an army of there own to fight back the demon's. They had the strongest of the strong, smartest of the smart, the best of the best. They had every elementian that was willing to join and fight for there planet, except for Amber, the demons creator.

Amber had wanted to help, she just couldn't bring herself to kill the very creatures she had created. Even if they were killing so many, destroying town's, breaking families, it wasn't there fault, it was her's, and she hated herself for the mistake. The demon's were mad at HER , they were killing to get HER attention, so they could kill HER. She wanted to save them, she wanted to do so many things, but she never would, she never got a chance.

The elementian army had attacked the demon base of operation. This is when all hell broke lose, the elementian's were down, half the elementian rank's were died or dying. Then Anastasia went out onto the field of battle.

She was struck down immediately, and was died before she hit the ground. Amber watched this all go down. She tried so hard to not interfere, she controlled herself for so long, but this finally broke her.

Amber was infuriated. She could have killed them all and felt no remorse, could have walked across no mans land and snapped every demon's neck.

Amber went into battle with no remorse that day she killed all the demon's on that field of battle. She went on as the head of the elementian army, winning every battle she was in.

The final battle was upon the elementian's, they were facing Katanna and her head generals, and they din't plan on losing the battle.

As the battle continued only Katanna and her generals and Amber and her generals were left. You could cut the tension in the air with a blade. The two most powerful people on the planet were about to face off.

So the battle raged on, everyone was down and hurt, and Amber was down, all her friends were severely wounded along with the demon generals, her family were died and it looked like she would be joining them soon. But she refused to give up.

In one final act of strength, Amber call upon all the magical energy she could and used it to obliterate Katanna, destroying herself and the entire planet in the process. All Amber cared about was that she had won, she had saved other universes from the terrible evil that had befallen them.

Tho this is where the legend ends, it is only the beginning for our tale.

After the blast, the planets timeline reset, everyone that was previously on the planet was back, but there were a few changes. The new planet's name was earth, year 2018. Everything was set to start again, except for one tiny detail. Amber. Because of he blast, she was in a coma. The world wouldn't truly start again until she woke up.

Our story starts one fateful day when time started once again.

This is a quick author's note sating that I'm very happy to post my new story "A Tale of Fire and Sorrow" and I will probably need some help with the story. I do have a co-writer who so graciously offered her assistance to me, but I'll always need help with idea's. For those who are wondering I am going to try and post a chapter every week, tho if i do get behind on that apologies in advance.
