"James? JAMES? James, listen to me!"

I made no effort to look up, instead pretending I was too fixed on my book to hear her.

Sighing, Kacy left her position in the doorway and crouched over by my bed.

"I know you can here me, James. You haven't turned a page in that book since you picked it up!"

I looked up for the first time since Kacy's interruption.

"What do you want?"

"For you to go outside for once."

I groaned. "No. No,no,no,no,no,no. Did I mention no?"

I hadn't been outside since the summer holidays had started. I just didn't feel like I needed too; weren't the holidays a time to relax? Not think of anything?

Kacy smiled sadly. "But James, you can't stay here all day-"

"I can if I want to."

Kacy sighed again and stood up.

"Whatever you say, bro. Whatever you say."
