Chapter Thirteen (part two)

Mae's pov

I woke up kinda late this morning. I was too lazy to get up though, so I just stayed in bed and watched the Beyoncé takeover that was on fuse, while I looked through my Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter.

People weren't too happy about the pictures I posted last night at the Drake concert. I truly couldn't care less though. Blake is the one, and I wouldn't do anything to mess it up.

Blake texts me to tell me he's on his way over to my place to pick me up.

I decide to take a shower and get my hygiene stuff in. After that, I put on my make up and decide to wear a black and red checkered button up shirt with denim shorts and black vans. I slide on some black ray bans and few more accessories to add onto my outfit.

When I'm done, I look at myself in the mirror and decide to take a couple selfies. I look through them and decide to put the one with my lips slightly puckered on my Instagram.

My caption read:

I smile to myself, then I leave my bedroom, go into the living room. I was truly surprise to see Blake just sitting there, watching tv with Lilly. I didn't even know he was here. I guess it's perfect timing then.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Waiting for you." Blake said, standing up.

"Yeah, but I didn't expect you to be here yet." I said.

"Come on, let's just go already." Blake said, grabbing me by my waist and walking me towards the door.

"Bye Lilly." Blake and I said in sync.

"Bye guys."

Blake took me out for lunch. I really wanted a burger, so I told him to take me to a Red Robin's. I got the 5 alarm burger, which was not as hot as I expected. Then again, I'm use to spicy food.

After that, Blake takes me to the mall and lets me buy whatever I want. I hate when Blake does this and spends all his money on me. He said it was a little birthday treat since we didn't really get to do anything yesterday on my actual birthday. I just let him do whatever, because he's way too stubborn.

Once we are done shopping, it's like 5. Blake says we should just drive around and enjoy the view of everything around us. After about an hour of that, I get bored and ask Blake to take me home.

"No. We can't." Blake says.

"And why not?..." I ask.

"Because I have a surprise for you." Blake says, looking over at me and smiling.

"Fine." I say, before pecking his lips.

At about 8, Blake takes me to dinner. Once again Blake lets me choose. I wanted to go to Red Lobster, so that's where we went.

We ate, talked, and laughed and just had a good time enjoying each others' company. Blake kept looking out the window a lot, though.

He looked out the window one more time then told me it was time to go. He called for the check and just gave the waiter $100. The bill was like less than $60, but Blake was just in such a huge rush, he didn't even care.

We got in the car and Blake rushed off pretty fast.

"Don't you think your going pretty fast?" I questioned.

"I'm sorry, baby. I just want everything to be perfect." Blake simply said, slowing down a little bit.

We finally arrive at the beach, and right before sunset starts.

"Yes! We made it just in time." Blake said, smiling from ear to ear.

"For what? The sunset?" I ask.

"Yeah!" Blake said, grabbing my hand.

We start walking, while watching the sunset. Right before the end, Blake grabs something out of his pocket.

"Close your eyes." He says, with a huge grin on his face.

"You aren't gonna draw on my face or something?" I ask, earning a slight chuckle from Blake.

"No. Just close them." Blake reassures me.

"Open up your hands, too." Blake adds.

I do as I'm told and feel something drop into my open hands.

"Okay open them." Blake commands.

I open my eyes to see a small red velvet box in my hands.

A million thoughts crossed my mind as soon as I laid eyes upon the small box.

"Open it." Blake said.

My heart was pounding. I opened it to see a a ring. It had a huge ruby gem (my birth gem) along with little diamonds surrounding it.

"Blake, I--"

"I know we haven't been together long, but I feel that we were meant for each other. This is not a marriage proposal, it's just a little something to show you that one day, I promise I will propose to you and make you mine forever. I get this special feeling whenever I'm with you. I have never experienced this feeling with anyone else before in my life. And when you get this feeling, you don't want it to go away. I don't want you to go away, Olivia. I love you, and I plan to keep you in my life until I die. No one and nothing can ever change how I feel about you!"

I could tell Blake was speaking straight from his heart. And I couldn't lie and tell him I didn't feel the same way back. I feel some type of way with him. It's a special feeling you could never feel with someone else. It's not a best friend 'love'. It's not a family pet 'love'. It's not a sister, a brother, a cousin, an aunt, uncle, grandpa, grandma 'love'. It's not even a mother and father type of 'love'. It's even bigger. It's an 'I'm in love with you' type of 'love' where life means nothing if there not in your life. I thought I'd never feel this type of love, until being with Blake. He truly changed my prospective of 'love'. I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

Omg this chapter came out better than I expected. I truly didn't know how I was gonna write this chapter, but then inspiration just came to me.
