"Why am I even in trouble." He grumbled as I sunk deeper into the rough velvet chair, my  back starting to itch from the rough fabric.
"Well Travis, you stole some of Alison's things and you have been harassing her, and this has happened numerous times." Mr. Strickting said as he slid his glasses up his nose once more.
"So? What now, give me another detention slip?" Travis challenged as he winked at me. I didn't know whether to gag or to slap him so I decided to take the safe route and simply roll my eyes.

Travis Amourance was the most annoying, troubling, and seductive boy at Finigain High. It wasn't just that his personality was dangerous, but so was his apperance. He had brown hair the color of dark chocolate that tumbled into these dark ocean blue eyes. He had muscles rippling all over his body and a sleeve of tattoos that covered half of his muscular arms.

His looks weren't the only things that made girls go crazy. No, it was his nasty reputation.

Travis had the bad boy look down, and of course the attitude came with it, sadly. Since he and his cousin lived together he needed some extra money, and instead of getting a normal job at Walgreens or something, he fought for the extra money he needed, and damn was he good. I hadn't seen him fight before, but my friend Tammy had. She said that blood ended up everywhere and his opponent was down for at least five minutes before an ambulance came to retrieve him.

Of course I had my reasons for hating Travis, one of them being that he treated girls like they were toys. He had slept with more than a hundred girls, all of them ending up to be one night stands. Thankfully I wasn't one of them, but sadly I was in his sights now.

"Oh no." Mr. Strickting said as he ran a hand through her gray hair. My eyes widened slighty as I sat at the edge of my seat, my legs shaking in anticipation.
"Then what are you going to do?" I asked in a tight voice, my eyes focused forward. Instead of answering Mr. Strickting only smiled at me. I sent a side glance towards Travis and had to muffle my groan as he continued smiling flirtatiously at me.

Of course I was used to boys staring at me, but not in the way Travis stared. Travis was smiling in his sultry way, his eyes continuously trailing up and down my body, drinking in the entire view. As soon as his eyes started lingering at my chest I turned abruptly, my face burning, as I awaited hearing the news I was dreading to hear.

"Well Alison, since you are one of my best students, one of the only pupils with a perfect record in nearly everything, I am going to leave him in your hands for the next 6 weeks. You'll spend every free class with him and heck, even go to his apartment if you want. I don't care what you do, just keep him out of trouble."

I swear, the blood in my body stooped.

My head was echoing what he had just said.

Please tell me I had heard him wrong. Even while hoping that, I knew I had heard him right.

"WHAT!" I shouted as I slammed my palms onto Mr. Strickting's organized desk. The loose pens in their containers rattled at the sudden disruption, and even Travis was silent at my outbreak.
"Alison." Mr. Strickting said in a stern voice as his large fingers slowly wrapped around my wrist, his arms trying to remove my hands from the polished oak.
"Steward." I growled through gritted teeth. As my eyes finally met my principal's stony glare I felt hands on my shoulders. Travis's hands slowly led me away from the desk, and it was sad to say that I now would be indebt to him.
"Okay Mr. Strickting, we understand. Six weeks isn't too long? Oh look, science class." Travis said hurriedly as he hustled me out of his office, his hands pushing me all the way through the threshold. Travis did not let go of me until we had passed by his office and had reached the west wing's hallway. Finally, after the heat of the moment was over, I had enough sense to wriggle out of his grasp.

"Can you let go!" I shouted as I crossed my arms over my chest, of course after taking a few steps back.
"Never in a million years, doll." Travis said with a smirk as he crossed his muscular arms in front of his chest.
"Well, now that that is over why don't you leave me alone?" I huffed as I tugged on one of my carmel colored locks.
"Because you heard the man, you're mine now." Travis said with another grin, his canines glinting in the bright lights.

He so was going to overuse his privileges.

"No, I am not. And don't think just because I am babysitting you you get to sleep with me." I said stiffly as I glared in his direction.
"I think you are the first girl who turned down sleeping with me before I even asked you." Travis said as he gasped in mock-surprise.

I began walking down the hallway, my anger still needing to subside, and before I could turn hte corner I was stopped by Travis clearing his throat.
"Oh and Alison, just remember this. If you want to get that scholarship or whatever to Stanford you have to 'change me'," he said with air quotes, that devilish smirk still on his face, "and if you can't, then 1,000 hours of community service." I could feel my anger rising as I clenched my fists.
"Why does he hate me so much." I grumbled to myself as I shifted my backpack from shoulder to shoulder.
"I have no clue, I mean I like you. You're not the easy type to hate." Travis said from behind me as he pulled at his own backpack, his arms flexing and showed off his massive muscles with the motion.
"But you are." I said loudly as I rolled my eyes.

Travis only sent me a flirty smile in return as  he wrapped his arm over my shoulder, even though to do so he hand to bend down slightly due to the fact that I was four inches smaller than him. The boy was 6'3" for crying out loud.

"Ali, how can you resist me?" Travis teased as he started leading me down the hall, my small frame hardly being able to abstain from the force.
"It's Alison." I growled as I pulled my hair into a high ponytail, the motion roughly pushing Travis's arm off of my own.
"And it's pretty easy to resist a boy who sleeps with a different girl every night." I mumbled as I shrugged off his arm once more as he tried to reposition himself.

"Look Alison, I don't sleep with a different girl every night. I need a break once in a while too." The idea of that made me shiver. Travis only laughed, that sort of laugh that would leave a girl with butterflies in her stomach. I didn't have butterflies, no, I had bile.
"Ew, still. Okay, well I have got to go to science. So, um, leave me alone." I said quickly as I tried to shuffle quickly down the hall, but Travis caught up to me with one long stride.

"Alison, you can't escape me. Oh and when you get back to your dorm pack a bag, your coming over." Travis said with confidence as he began to stride down the hallway, his arm pulling me along. Everyone in our path quickly moving away as though he was Moses spreading the Red Sea. A few students stared at me in what seemed like awe, probably due to the fact that Travis Amourance never walked with anyone unless they were his friends, or his cousin Jason.

"Travis, please?" I pleaded as we took a sharp turn down the corridor.
"How bout, no. You want that scholarship right?" The idea of Stanford made my heart flutter, except Travis was still in the picture.

"Travis go. Away. Now." I said fervently as I turned to enter the science lab.
"Oh Alison, this is only the beginning." He said as he slipped into a desk next to mine.

Oh ya, the beginning of hell.
