"Tell me where it is! Now!" A harsh punch landed across Elias' cheek, "Where is it!" The White Mask demanded. "Tell me where the canister is!"
"I don't know what you're talking about, and even if I did..." Elias spat out some blood onto the cold, dirty grey floor. "I wouldn't tell scum like you." Another punch landed in his gut, causing him to cough up blood and let his head drop. "Fuck..." an exasperated sigh escaped his cut lips.
"If it gets to it, we'll have to kill you if you are useless to us. But I'm sure we can get other kinds of information out of you." The White Mask revealed a butterfly knife, glinting in the light of the dying bulb.
"You might as well get it over with..."
"Kötz, no! You can't just give up now." Vicente shouted. His eyepatch had been removed, showing the scarred and milky white eye that was there. But now there would be new scars on both of them, both their uniforms were ripped and soaked red from their blood."You will tell me where that canister is, the one you stole from us. I know that you were there that day. I saw you. You and your friends. Jäger and IQ. We're coming for them next. Then we'll tear down your CT force and dominate the world as you know it. Your little family will be crushed under our boots like the cockroaches they are." The White Mask leaned down in front of Elias, grabbing his hair and making him look up at him and into his eyes. "We'll kill you, then your friend here. Then we'll move onto your friends. We'll kill them all, I promise you."
Their hope was dying but Vicente was planning something. He was painfully pulling himself out of his rope binds. It was excruciating, yes, but it could save them. He finally pulled his hands out and waited for the terrorist to make a move.
"Hey, dick head..." Vicente called out, receiving the attention of the White Mask. It turned around and the blade of the knife shone in the yellow light. He stepped closer, even closer now that he was a foot away from him. Capitão rapidly brought his arm around and smacked the knife out of his hand, jumping up and headbutting the terrorist. The terrorist was sent reeling back, landing in front of Elias. Vicente picked up the knife, readying his arm to throw it at the terrorist."This is for Brazil you disgusting fuck." The knife flew, landing just in the eye of the mask that he was wearing. He screamed in pain, his fingers curling and blood spewing out from the socket. Vicente stepped above the interrogator and pushed his foot onto the knife, digging it deeper into his skull. Instantly he stopped sprawling, his body weakening and stopping entirely. The screams stopped.
"Well done Vicente..." Elias choked up, looking up at the one-eyed man. Vicente removed Elias' binds and helped him to stand up. They both grabbed their gear and donned their bulletproof vests and Blitz pulled on his helmet. Vicente stared at his beret and pulled it on, securing it in its proper place upon his head. Elias limped towards the door, turning the handle and being thankful that it was left unlocked. Vicente looked around the room, seeing no cameras. This must be a quick instalment then, somewhere that isn't permanent. But why wasn't there another terrorist? Vicente went to the half opened door, looking through and seeing a long, darkened corridor. But it seemed as if they were in a mine, mud walls and wooden supports along the walls at equal intervals. No doors or separate passageways to the side, just the brown length of the walls.
"This doesn't seem right." Capitão held Elias, helping him walk.
"Nothing seemed right from the start..." Elias hobbled down the mine with Vicente.
"Sounds about right..." The two of them arrived at a metal door at the end, it had gone off from the mining track. The more able one pushed the handle down and slowly pulled the door open, revealing a long, spiral staircase heading upwards.
"This has got to be a joke..." Elias sighed
"It seems as if this is the only way out. Come on, Kötz, we can do this."They started climbing the steep, spiralling, metallic steps. Stopping after a minute as Elias became worn out. He sat on one of the steps and wiped his brow, looking up and seeing a faint white light, seeming natural. Hopefully it was the Sun. He pulled himself back up and carried on up the stairs, feeling his legs get weaker yet he pushed on. Vicente was a few steps behind, making sure that Elias wouldn't fall down. Capitão knew he was weak but he also didn't fare well off either.
